I went on Radiance as a first time cruiser the 9th-12th of this month and I had a ball. Deon was great and the crew knew us by name after one encounter. I loved guys burgers and yea the buffet could use some work. The Italian restaurant was literally the best we ate. The comedy Show was amazing and the club was lit! So much diversity. Carnival radiance is an underrated line. Can't wait to go during spring or summer when its warm because i was freezing lol..

I was on the same cruise! 12/9-12/12. My husband and I had so much fun celebrating his birthday. The staff was amazing very attentive and we loved Deon too 😂 can’t speak on the buffet as we didn’t eat there but the dining room food was pretty good and we loved the steak house that was the best meal we had on the cruise. We loved our time so much we booked another trip on the radiance again

I didn't try the 555 Steakhouse yet, so it's a must do on my list we did try the Italian restaurant and it was delicious. Have fun for me

I love you guys' videos. We are doing the NCL Breakaway Haven Deluxe Owners Suite in March 2023 for our first-time cruising. After seeing your haven video, I made up my mind to spend the extra money on it. I'm counting down the days and can't wait until March gets here. Great video! I’ve travelled Carnival a lot back in a day until I started going on Norwegian…I’m Platinum Plus on Norwegian and I truly enjoy their ships! Things are changing now after Covid hit and it just doesn’t seem to be the same! I was on the Norwegian Joy May 2022 and it was just ok! I was happy to be away for my R&R and away from work! We’re Carnival fans, due to we cruise with our kids and their kids youngest being 21 and they absolutely love cruising carnival due to all the fun. we are going on our first princess cruise to Alaska in 2025, just husband and I. Hoping we will enjoy it as much as we do with all of our family on Carnival.

The continued comparison takes away from the review. It just says she's older and wants a relaxing quiet cruise like Royal Caribbean celebration because it's more geared towards older people.

Nice video, we just got off the Panorama and I liked Pig and Anchor there so it will be interesting to compare. Looking at your video the beef did look bad. I am interested if I can still get a lot of entertainment from the Radiance.

@@kingifam totally understandable, I believe your husband said he was a caterer so I imagine you two know what really good bbq is like. Cruise ships are nice but I think it is just impossible to make great bbq on a cruise ship.

This is my second video. I like this video better than the Haven. Welcome back to the real world. Everyone is different. I want to recommend Celebrity for the food and service. It is head and shoulders better than the other cruise line. The crowd is a little older. Maybe bring your parents on that cruise. You will not be disappointed.

This video stood out to me so I decided to watch and glad I did. I was on the Radiance in August. My first time cruising out of Long Beach and was very impressed by the port and the ship! Your family is so adorable when I seen the kids in the beginning I said the son looks like dad and the daughter looks like mom and dad. I will go back and watch your other videos. Soulbound was actually much better this time too! And yes, Deon was the CD last time and this recent time too. He was great and our daughter was imitating him the whole trip. I was on ship when the ship was the carnival victory I love the ship and did three times on different trips I was very disappointed with the change The top deck had rust and old and new items together The food was bad The service was ok I miss the victory

Just found your channel. I went on Radiance last NY eve. I really missed the old Deli. Fresh carved turkey sandwiches. Shaqs was yummy. The new Carnival pizza is terrible. I liked RC pizza and also Princess pizza in Alfredos. I'm going on NCL Joy in Feb out of San Pedro. I loved the RC Navigator buffet when I went last April.

so its funny you mentioned the reception as a cruise because my fiance and i are getting married on the 14th of july and leaving the 16th for the radiance....for our honeymoon will be our first cruise and cant wait. also have to join you on i want good food and good service im a trained chef myself so i can tell sub par food right away myself...my fiance hates it sometimes cause i can tell just by touching whether meat is properly temped ...
It was $600 total for the one balcony room (double occupancy). That definitely seems like a lot, but it’s per person and also the time you cruise can make the price vary greatly. Hope you enjoy it though! Thanks for watching!
NCL, Carnival, and Royal have all seemed to have fell off in quality. Princess and Celebrity have maintained quality, but their venues reflect a more upscale palate.
We just went on a Princess cruise recently and will have to drop the video for it. We were not impressed initially, but after our last cruise on carnival, I think we would rank Princess up there fairly high in what we like in a cruise. Thanks for watching!

The pig & anchor on Radiance is pretty sub-par. I couldn't agree more on the poor quality their. Guy shouldn't allow them to tarnish his reputation by allowing this as an example of his cuisine. Dry and bland is how I'd describe the food here.
We've cruised on this ship several times and have never complained as much as you two did on this video. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, You guys seem a little snob-ish to me.
I call the Club "MONKEYPOX CENTRAL", 🤣😂Carnival is a Get Crunk, Get Fu*ked Up, & Fight Cruise Ship. People Watching is also FUN & Funny. The Group of People feel more HOMIE instead of BOURGIE like Royal & NCL. The Food needs work, but it's better than Jail/Prison Eats so be thankful you are FREE. Mardi Gras, Horizon, are my favorite, & I will be doing CELEBRATION & JUBILEE in the middle of 2023. 🏖🌅🛳⚓
