I love duck eggs!!! Been carnivore for years now. Great to see lots more people coming around to this idea. I have had epilepsy most of my life. Keto made it a lot better but carnivore cured it completely.

@@Tarotdefrida also some people do better with adding some carbs like root veg/ fruits and maybe even some organic gluten and grains towards the evening or with dinner.
Very clever researchers have found 5 regions in the world where people regularly live to 90 or 100, and have very little disease. They eat only a small amount of meat, and mostly plants. We consume 100 billion animals each year, which is ridiculous & unsustainable. Christine Skelly i eat what my bible tells me to eat. Animals do not harm the planet. We r not that powerful and neither are animals. The earth has always been changing and it will continue to despite what we do
I love how blunt and honest you are! No commercials in your intent. Just passing on good info! Wanting to try a two-week carnivore reset so I really appreciate this video.
I have been on carnivore for about 3 months, great health benefits, improved hip osteoarthritis, improved eyesight, (stronger muscles, which surprised me), and blood sugars much better, I am diabetic type 2, and had been doing keto for a few years which was great but with carnivore sugar, and carbs came down to zero, wonderfull, delicious I make fantastic bone broth, it is solid with gel when cold, all of it, from top to bottom, after i finish frying i like to add the oil and fat from the pan to the soup
@@UsyksmashedFurytopieces I have kidney problems and not allowed to eat plant products, no fruits and veggies, not bread because of a potassium problem. I eat animal products and this is healthy for people.
I made the roast in the crock pot just like you said. I have NEVER made a roast so delicious ever!!!!! It was perfect and everyone was fighting over it so I made another one the next day. I used chuck roast with plenty of fat. You could cut it with a fork.
KetoFocus hi can you help me with some info? I've been on Keto for 5.5 months and lost 22 kg but niw as I've got only about 2 kg left ice platoughed. ....and as keto is moderate protein I do miss my big plate of meat. Instead I have a huge plate of crusiferous veg with 60 grams of protein and about teaspoon of fat....I get another tablespoon of fat in my keto dessert 😉😂 ice come across this carnivorous diet but can't find people that had experienced weight loss on keto and felt happy with it. I certainly would be willing to try it as my keto results were astounding, can u tell me ur ratios? how many grams of orecooked meat u eat in a day? I'm on omad ( I eat my dinner and keto dessert within 2 hrs usually between 1300-1500) many thanks
Just found you via your channel and I’m already a fan! I’ve lost 50lbs through Keto and after lots of research my husband and I are now leaning more toward a combo of Keto/Carnivore. I love your laid back style and straightforward presentation style. Subscribed! 😊
That’s awesome! If you are in a budget, you can stick to ground beef and eggs. A lot of people will just eat beef. I find it the most satisfying and I end up eating less when I eat only beef.
@DroopyWorm I really enjoy gound beef patties with cheese but also like an egg with it once in awhile. Is there a reason why you don't throw an egg into your rotation....like maybe you don't enjoy them?
KetoFocus but holy crap that’s a boring diet lol. So these carnivore diet folks are gonna eat only meat for the rest of their lives? No thanks. There are vegetables, and fruit, and nuts that I actually enjoy.
DroopyWorm But could a person really eat such an exclusive and limited diet for the rest of their life? It seems like it would be very difficult. I could eat 80% meat and 20% other stuff. But just meat exclusively and permanently? As much as I like it I don’t think I could do that and I doubt that many other people could either. Just like overweight people they go on a diet and lose weight but then within a couple of years fall back to their old habits and gain all the weight back. Happens 90% of the time unfortunately. I’m just saying people have a very difficult time sticking with anything like this, no matter how healthy it is, for an extended time.
“Idk I like the taste of cancer I guess” 😅 me too! Looked perfect to me! I’m in the middle of a keto pregnancy right now and loving it, but I’ve been getting so into carnivore I’m excited to go full blown postpartum. Incorporating more animal based meals in the mean time, these were great suggestions, thank you!
Awesome! I have a friend who was vegetarian before her pregnancy. When she got pregnant, she started craving meat, so ate meat throughout her pregnancy and still does today. The body tells you what it wants!
@@KetoFocus I had a friend with a young baby who we referred to as Cave Baby because she was weaned on meat instead of cereals and vegetable. She was a healthy baby and very happy it seems. They are Canadian and had the full blessing of their pediatric physician.
@@KetoFocus what about the cancer risk that the media tells us? I cut down on beef cause they said a lot of red meat causes cancer.. not sure if I believe that
Thank you, dear Lady. I just began KetoVore. After 4 months on Ketogenic Diet with Intermittent Fasting. For two months I have been in a plateau for weight loss. Still have 50lbs to go to be healthy weight. Your recipes are great. Zero carbs is my goal for 30 to 90 days. 🙏♥️
Mmmmmmmmm those looked awesome! : ) Thanks for sharing your recipes. Check out my steak vids, bison steak & egg, tuna steak & egg and elk steak & egg recipe videos. ;) They are guaranteed to make your mouth water... lol Thumbs up! 👍🏼
Yes, carnivore it’s not always as simple as many make it seem. It must be adjusted to each individual. I am a diabetic and cannot eat that much meat because it can certainly cause blood sugars to raise. I have to do the higher fat version of carnivore with absolutely no dairy.
I love meat, but what is the benefit in giving up vegetables? I can understand the logic in paleo where they don't eat grains, but haven't humans always eaten wild fruits and veggies?
Food sensitivities. Some people have inflammatory responses to even the least triggering fruits and vegetables. For me, the desire is to keep gut inflammation down.
I'm just beginning my journey with the carnivore diet and I'm super excited for the results. I have terrible joint and back pain so eagerly awaiting some relief!
Have you ever considered drinking distilled water? There are a ton of toxins and metals in your body especially fluoride which coats the pineal gland of the brain which regulates your sleep and mood, look it up you'll be fascinated. I've been doing it for years and sleep like the Dead.
Just subbed! Day 2 of eating this way. I NEED videos like this!!! Eventually i will figure out my own recipes, but these kinds of videos help out a newbie SO MUCH😊 THANK YOU
I don't see how the carnivore diet can be healthy without organ meats, especially liver. I would think that unless you ate liver, you would be way too low on essential vitamins and minerals.
I think the occasional organ meat is good to have on the carnivore diet. Unless you are consuming grass fed meats all the time, it is more necessary. But I know there are people in the community that don't consume organ meats.
Thank you great video going to start this carnivore diet .I was always a gym rat but life has it up and down got depressed. Lost my mom lost my job now dad sick.alot don't go to gym for 2yr maybe 3 got so depressing that I blow up to 450lbs not good am 5"11 48yrold. April 30 of 2019 i stared the keto diet as of 2/6/20 IAM 338lbs by my birthday April 30 2020 I want to be 275lbs. Been going to the gym sent I stared my diet in April 2019 . Kind of hit a wall so maybe this carnival.ill kick start it 💪
I was a bit over 150Kg when I kicked the carbs. Did nothing except changed the diet. Now about 90Kg with no problems, so far. Feel better, stamina has improved and other things. The only thing I miss are potatoes. So I have the occasional binge but that's OK. Gotta have some enjoyment. :)
Your food looks delicious. The roast at the end is amazing. I would generally slow BBQ or instant pot (which requires 2 cups of liquid minimum to start). I love the idea of just slow cooking it in its own juices. Awesome!
Happy New Year Annie! I would like to see more carnivore recipes, I use your Keto reçipes all the time and they are delicious. Thank you for all your hard work sharing recipes and tips with us.
I tried what she's talking about. But I just can't eat that much MEAT. I can do it for a few days, then I just can't force down another bite of savory muscle fiber. I have to have vegetables and other things.
Carnivory is the natural human diet, I love it. I cannot afford steak but thank goodness I have no dairy allergies, so eggs do the trick along with raw uncured bacon, that stuff tastes so good. I started w/IF, did keto for 2 months only, went carN, and live a fasting focused lifestyle a la Snake Diet. Great health, sz 0, need new clothes, 17% body fat and I'm post meno lol! TY, keep it up!
@@nuclearlefthook5008 Whatever you wanna believe. Tens of thousands of years of human history say otherwise. Def'ly not designed to eat grains or anti-nutrient green leafies like kale, yuck.
@@psychicoutlawchanel7430 where does tens of thousands of years of human history say otherwise? Humans are opportunistic omnivores and always have been. Look even at Roman times - there is evidence of some areas of the Roman empire being completely plant based, whilst a few hundred miles North was heavily meat based. Human's eat whatever is in front of them, we're not obligate carnivores like cats are.
Awww... that beautiful steak burned on the outside!! LOL I will have to try this diet, but feel bad for those who must do this on a grocery store basis! Was looking at the prices you paid for the steak and roast, and may persons if not most, would never be able to afford to pay that kind of money for each meal. That steak and eggs would be like going to a restaurant and buying every meal in comparison financially! -- It's over $10 per meal, unless you only ate half of it. But as a cattle rancher who raises what we eat... I say "All the more power to ya'''ll who are doing the carnivore diet"!
Jomama 81 ranch - I've found it's actually cheaper to eat carnivore than to eat meals that includes veggies and fruit and snacks and grains like I used to! i used to go to the store and spend $150 for a week's food (and drink)... now I'm doing carnivore and spend about $90. The thing to remember is, you're not wasting money on carbs like bread and rice and pasta and such. And no juice or wine or beer, they're not carnivore; you just drink water. And you don't need a ton of meat, just eat one or two meals a day, as much as you're hungry for. Re: the cost of a meal --- today I my lunch was made up of four pastured eggs = about $2.00, and a half pound of organic grass fed ground beef=$3.50. It's very filling so I may not have another meal till tomorrow. So, $5.50 to eat for the day. If I was having three meals a day, then I might have two eggs for breakfast plus sardines ($4); 1/2 pound pork for lunch ($2.50); and 1/2 pound beef for dinner ($3.50). Not cheap but not more than it would have cost to throw in a bunch of pasta and some broccoli and bread and stir fry veggies.
@@deborahsimon1101 Cool! Where are you at that your eggs cost $2 for 4 eggs? I raise chickens so have eggs I give away! LOL Don't think I could do the eggs and sardines! The only use for sardines in my house, is to bait a coon trap to keep my chickens safe. LOL
The night before a running race in San Francisco there was a carb load spaghetti feed but my husband declined and took our family out for seafood instead. I loaded up all right-on shrimp! The next day I felt stronger running than I ever had.
I like these ideas. The method I started out with was just beef, bacon, and eggs. I look forward to other ideas and recipes as I am really getting board with what I have had so far. I almost had looking at eggs much less eat them. And I LOVE eggs.
I'm dropping 2 lbs a day. Breakfast - 2 eggs with cooking spray and 1 sour pickle. Lunch- 2 grill pork chops+ sugar free BBQ sauce. Dinner- plant-based eggs with one spoon bacon bites + 1 spoon of light meyo and half cucumber. With each meal I drink homemade iced tea no sugar. Snack- coffee with a splash of milk, sparkling water, iced tea, lots of water, take a multivitamin. This is my experiment and dropping 2 lbs a day. ☺️ You should try! 🤷
Guys!!! There's a very simple solution for those who maybe wanna improve or maintain health & weight. You don't even need to understand health basics. My mother lost almost 200lbs from proper "Food Combining." Simple: Never eat a Carb & a Protein too close together/in the same meal. So having a shrimp salad w/out croutons, for example, or just have some avacado toast (whole grain or healthier breads of coarse will help too)... Where as we know growing up, most of us are used to meat, potatoes & a veggie, or something similar...or eggs, bacon & toast. Those are a great example for BAD food combinations, meals you definitely want to avoid. Spacing out intake, with proper combinations (as everything in moderation is the best common EASY way to lose weight & improve your health.)
I would love to see more carnivore videos. I really need recipe ideas. I am going to start the carnivore diet starting on the 1st of July. I am going to try to do this for 30 days. I have been keto for a little over 3 years. I feel that I have just gotten into some bad habits like before I was keto. I haven’t gained a lot of weight but I still have some fat around my mid section.
Surely you're blocking the air fryer working as designed by using parchment paper with the salmon? Saving on the clean up admittedly but wasting so much electricity bring up to heat?
That steak looked scrumptious! Grilling it outdoors almost takes us back a couple of hundred years when we will have hunted the animal and cooked it accordingly. I wanna go camping now!
What about constipation...im looking to start carnivore diet but i heard a lotta protein can constipate you? is that something to worry about? Besides that i heard nothing but great things about this diet
This video was a great help! Would love to see more of your favorite foods and how you prepare them! Also a question to you and any other who have gone carnivore-if you had a regular work out schedule/routine before or even after starting this diet, what is it and how had it effected it? I have found that although I have always been a big breakfast person, I don’t feel great if I work out after eating so do it now first thing in the morning. But sometimes I’m hungry! Any thoughts?
The longer I eat Carnivore, the less hungry I am. So I naturally fast in the mornings. I usually work out the in morning but sometimes it's at night. I run for cardio and lift weights. It hasn't affected my strength. I actually feel stronger when I eat Carnivore.
Recently diagnosed diabetic (T2). Have been working towards either a full carnivore or a ketovore diet. Thanksgiving threw it off, but buckling back down now. Hard part for me has been the carb withdrawals making me crave junk even when I'm still full two or three hours after a good steak and eggs meal. I know I set myself back by giving in at Thanksgiving and have ensured those withdrawals are gonna last longer now. Great seeing what others are eating as it definitely helps people like myself to know what options are out there and good ways to get a bit of diversity in preparation. Thank you.
yes, the cravings are tough & no joke, hang in they will lessen and then its meh to the junk food....for me its more the "habbit" or the way we have always eaten that messes me up...not really the desire for bad foods...
I’ve done the Atkins Diet, but mostly ate Bratwurst for snacks, Eggs and Steak. I lost 35lbs. In 10weeks. And had a six pack to show for. I I never even worked out until week 11 and 12. I think I will get back on it. It ducks for the first 1-2 weeks. But is a breeze after that.
I noticed your steak cost $10.66. If you are eating this every day for your breakfast, that's $70 per week - just for your breakfast! - and that is not even your entire breakfast. How do you afford this diet??
Steak is just expensive. I don't eat steak everyday because of that. I wish I could! Most of the time I skip breakfast so I'm just eating lunch and dinner. But I also fill up quite fast when I eat carnivore too. So that size of steak usually lasts two meals for me. I have a video on did on eating carnivore/keto on a budget where I talk about using less expensive cuts of meat.
I wonder if one could do a carnivore diet without meat for breakfast, so eating only eggs, or maybe fish and eggs, then meat in the evening, or is the objective to eat meat twice per day at least? Could you clarify? I am doing the Bodhimaya plan, which is intermittent fasting - eating all meals in 7 hours and then only eating 1 carb, 2 proteins and 7 fruit+veg units in total. This has worked for me in that I have lost a stone on it, but it is now levelling out, and I have not lost anything for several months now, but my digestion is amazing now (better than it was when I was a teen). It's a no caffeine, no sugar, no gluten diet too, and supposedly no dairy, but I do eat kefir and have some milk in my tea. I feel I need to shake my metabolism up again. I think I may be able to do the C diet when we get back from France end of May, but am struggling to work out a sensible menu that will not break my bank. Can you point me towards a specific video of yours - and have you heard that the specific fat/protein ratio is very important. You need to be eating enough fat to equal (calorifically) half the value of the meat you are eating. So if you eat 700cals of meat, your fat needs to be 300 cals worth. I know that much. Any info on a video to watch about menus would be great. Thanks (!) and best wishes.
Wow this all looks great! In regards to the carnivore diet being expensive, why do people insist on having beef as the primary food if they want to save money? Most meat is cheaper than beef, for example chicken, pork, lamb, venison, fish... Carnivore doesnt have to be that expensive, but obviously it will be if all you're eating is prime cuts of steak every day lol
I think people forget to add organs to the carnivore diet. Heart, liver, kidneys and that. They are very nutrient dense. That's why carnivores eat the organs first after a kill.
Do duck eggs taste like chicken eggs? Otherwise, I would love meet a gal like you! Great personality.. cheers! Oh yeah, just subbed’ ‘cause you made me really hungry as I’m waiting for my grill to get hot!✌🏻
Great info thank you. My wife and I are going to start this carnivore diet and we are excited. I do have a question... may we have fruits and vegetables on this diet?
Not on carnivore, purely beef, bacon, butter and eggs to start an elimination diet. Then add one meat at a time to see if you tolerate it. Then add one whole fat dairy at a time to see if you tolerate it. If you want some veggies, try Ketovore which is mostly meat and less than 20 grams carbs a day. Berries and avocados are doable, but most fruits too high in fructose. A 7 inch banana is 27 carbs. For more information try Dr Ken Berry’s RU-vid channel. He has excellent videos explaining the science of insulin resistance and why fructose is BAD.
“Burning” the outside of the steak with the inside rare to medium rare is called Chicago style and is the best way to cook a steak. Especially a ribeye
Starting today because I have SIBO. I touch anything plant based I bloat. Tired of the misery. Are we supposed to worry about intermittent fasting with carnivore? At the moment feeling hungrier but it could be mental hunger.
As you continue, you may naturally start to intermittent fast. I would just go with what you feel you body needs. If you are hungry and don't feel like you can fast, then eat.
This is actually a really good question and I'm glad you asked it. You actually don't need fiber for a healthy gut. The intestines were designed to reabsorb water and stimulate movement all on their own. With years of consuming fiber, the colon is a little lazy because fiber does all the work of reabsorbing and creating bulk for movement. You will get some loose stools at the start of eating carnivore because the body has to readjust back to the way it was designed to operate. But that goes away and you will have normal bowel movements. Another benefit of carnivore is that you will have less frequent bowel movements since you aren't consuming all that fiber that gets wasted. So less time lived in the bathroom 😆
KetoFocus I go to the local Japanese market and they have very reasonably priced fish eggs. If you dont have a Japanese market go to the local super market and ask the fish guy if they have any roe for sale. Its super tasty and great for you.
