I was damn near a 100 over.first 6 months I lost 60 pounds ( now down 90 pounds).To be honest I never did this to lose weight.As a matter of fact it took me 6 months to realize I lost the weight.also never did it to look good.To me it's not about how I look but my health
I’m doing a version of it I guess. No seed oils , sugar , carbs alcohol . Some veg with low carbs and elk , moose , deer , my fat comes mostly from grass fed and finished beef tallow and real extra virgin olive oil
Awesome stuff man! You look great for 56! I’m 26 and will be 27 next month. I’ve done the carnivore diet in the past, but I just started it again this past Sunday for my cut into the summer. I already feel great! It’s great not having to worry about the lasting effects of eating carbs.
Why I’ll not try: The long term effects are unknown. Well, that’s actually untrue, carnivore long term outcomes ARE known. We have excellent data comparing outcomes of meat eaters with eaters of a Mediterranean diet, say. And it’s not the meat eaters who fare better.
