I just started Carnivore yesterday and was told by a friend to look at your videos. I was diagnosed with MS 10 years ago, with 165 brain lesions, migraines, SIBO/leaky gut/IBS, Diabetes 2, non-stop itching on both my arms from some kind of nerve damage in my neck, supposedly, glaucoma, brain fog, OCD/ADD and more. I know I am celiac, so had cut out gluten a long time ago but still had a strong sugar addiction. Today, I spent most of the day, clearing everything out of my fridge and cupboards so that I don't get tempted when I am hungry. I started taking some digestive enzymes too because I have problems going to the bathroom and have been on laxatives since I was a child. I know I have a long haul ahead of me but I am willing to try anything at this point. Thank you for your testimony, it encouraged and inspired me. xo
Andrea Turner, email me at yourcenterofbrilliance@gmail.com if you feel like you would benefit from a one on one video conversation with me. It’s $30 for 30 mins. I would LOVE to share my experience with you!
Shelly Rye IKR! It’s crazy how deep those narratives we’ve been taught about nutrition are! I didn’t think in a million years to question them but that is exactly what was killing me! 😲
@@emilypenton I fell for "eat more veggies, and get plenty fiber" I couldn't understand why I was always so bloated and lethargic. I wasn't absorbing anything from the veggies, red meat was "iffy, use moderation"🤦♀️, and I was drinking a crap ton of water (cuz that's what "they" tell you with so much fiber), so I was flushing all my electrolytes. Once I removed all plants(after being keto for a yr so had already given up sugar), I felt an immediate difference. SO. MUCH. ENERGY! 7 months into carnivore and can't imagine going back!
To be honest I didn't notice MS before carnivore. I had the mindfog you described but didn't think about it. Carnivore made it infinitely worse and flare ups now mean damage to my optical nerves. Please be weary, be awake and challenge your beliefs, things work for some that truly don't work for others, listen to your body always
OMG. My elbows did the same thing! I've never heard of anyone else who had that unless they were athletic. Your testimony is so inspiring! Thank you so much for sharing! I've struggled with body wide inflammation including migraines for years. My first game plan was getting the chemicals out of my diet. That helped alot but did nothing for the weight and alot of the inflammation. Now I'm mainly carnivore and seeing great improvements little by little. Glad SOMETHING is finally working!
No way! I haven’t heard of anyone else who has experienced this either. I had no clue that it was related to the MS until the full onset of MS hit me and then resolved. I used to have to put rolled up dish towels under my elbows just to set them on the table while I ate. The nerve endings in my elbows were SUPER sensitive!!! I’m glad you’re finding relief! Feel free to reach out anytime on your journey!
Well done Emily! I’ve also healed most of the M.S through natural methods. I’ve been coaching and consulting for years. I’ve written a book the miracle frequency. I’m not completely scot free yet, I was keto for a year, and just I’ve just started carnivore to finish the job hopefully. It’s been quit the journey, but without ever taking the meds I got myself out of a wheelchair and healed blindness. The voyage continues on💫🙏😘
Wow what a story. In 2022 i got after ten years the diagnose of MS. I was searching for a solution. But thank you. Luckly i have a mild form of MS. I have less strenght in my left leg and i have a dropfoot. But your story about carnivoor dieet gives me hope that i will regane my strenght in my left leg and loss the dropfoot. Greeting Robert (the Netherlands)
I started the carnivore diet i have more strength now when i am at the gym lifting heavier weights. I started eating only fish i followed the oms diet but the carnivore diet is the best . Carnivore is the cure for ms
Hello Emily, I have suggested the carnivore way of eating to my sister in law and she has MS. But she has the block that most people have. it isn't healthy. When in fact it is very healthy. I am going to share your videos with her. thanks you for this topic. 💕 NonnaGrace
I tell people that I would rather live a happy, healthy 3 years amd then die of a heart attack then live the rest of my life miserable on a "healthy" diet. You can also tell her about the newest research on cholesterol and how it is no longer considered the cause of heart attacks and the flaws and assumptions of the old "science".
I didn't know anything about ms but I just saw it's some kind of an autoimmune issue. I'm less surprised about carnivore helping with that because it seems that carnivore and excluding plants seems to help quite a few autoimmune conditions.
Hi Emily I just found you and I am gonna watch all your videos from begining BUT I have to ask now: are you stil on that diet? How long did you take to be symptom free? I am on it 5 months now and I have MS since 2016 and Hashimoto since 2012... Thank you so much
Wow. Thank you for being courageous talking about this. I hope you keep making a lot of videos! People who need help just want to hear as much as they possibly can from as many people as they can, for confidence to go for it, and also to stay on daily. Do you mainly just eat one ribeye per day in one sitting and that’s it?
Amelia Erhart Awe! Thank you! 🥰 That is so sweet! I will definitely keep making videos as long as people keep listening and watching! It’s so scary being so sick and I don’t want people to feel alone in their fight. Yes, I eat pretty much one ribeye a day. Sometimes I split it up into two meals, sometimes just one, sometimes I only eat every other day. It just depends on what my body tells me to do. Thanks for you ❤️ and support.
AMEN!! I have also healed my autoimmune (or remission or whatever) !! I have lost 45lbs in 4 months & have my life - and my future back!! So happy for you!!!!
im on the autoimmune paleo diet from Dr. Terry Wahls since 3 weeks, im not seeing many results yet. Im thinking to switch to carnivore. With what autoimmune disease did you struggle?
Carnivore diet allows people to gain muscle, lose weight, and treat gum diseases, yeast, and autoimmune disorders. Potato diets are effective for weight loss, diabetes, cardiovascular damage, high blood pressure. water fasting is effective for a myriad of illnesses. Hyperbaric chambers can reverse brain damage and increase healing overall. Stem cell sprays can heal skin damage/burn damage. Donating blood once a month makes people almost immune to heart disease. Bone broth heals GI issues. Zinc supplementation fixes hormonal problems. Ivermectin, vitamin d, vitamin c, quercetin and zinc are the best treatment for COVID. But.... not a peep from the medical industry.
Emily, glad to hear about your hornet and positive results! What did you do for the changing microbial in the intestines to prevent diarrhea? Thank you and keep it up!
Hi! I just finished my first week of carnivore. It has been tough. Harder than fasting or keto. Finally yesterday it was getting manageable. This morning I was sick (little people brought home the flu), but I slept all day and then had chicken bone broth an hour later had a massive hamburger and I am doing fine. I was unprepared for the cravings. I have fasted a lot and I love fasting but for some reason carnivore diet caused massive cravings. It maybe because of Lyme's disease. I have done keto in the past but once I got Lyme's I couldn't maintain keto. With fasting my Lyme's is not noticable and I don't have to take any supplements. I actually started carnivore for my husband. He is real hangry with fasting (also he can't maintain a longer fast) so I suggested we try carnivore. He lasted two days but I am committed for a month. I saw an interview when you talked about your amalgamated fillings. I have had fillings over 50 years. From Dr. Mindy Pelz I learned that inability to lose weight is often because of heavy metals in the body. It seems carnivore could be helpful with heavy metals detox. What are your thoughts on that? Also Lyme's uses heavy metals in its' biofilm to hide from the immune system. I have been doing a lot of dry fasting to resolve these issues and it is working but I am not losing much weight (I think losing weight would be a good indicator of detoxing of heavy metals). I'm hoping carnivore might work. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks for your videos. It is inspiring.
Carri Kartes Hi! Sorry, I JUST now saw this. I’m not good at remembering to check RU-vid yet 😬 Anyway, I am glad to hear that you have found some relief with fasting. I have never intentionally tried it but I usually only eat once a day sometimes every other day. The key for me with cravings was to increase my animal fat intake. I go to the meat department and ask for the fat trimmings... the stuff they usually throw away. I cut it into chunks, toss it in Himalayan salt and freeze it. That’s how I eat half meat, half fat and that is what keeps my cravings under control. I am scheduled to get all 8 of my amalgam fillings removed this year! I am SO beyond excited about this because it will increase my chances of keeping MS symptoms at bay! It has got to be a benefit to get the mercury out of my body! Thanks so much for your comments and I truly wish you the best in your fight!
@@emilypenton thank you for the tip about fat. I will add more! I'm planning on doing more mercury detoxing. The plan is frequent low dose alphalipoic acid. You are not supposed to do it with any amalgamated fillings (the first time I tried I got very sick), but I get around that by making a cilantro mouth rinse to pull mercury from my mouth. It works surprisingly well. I have also started to take a binder daily on carnivore (diatomaceous earth and bentonite clay), and it seems to be helpful. I did my weigh in and have lost 5# in the first week. I will let you know after a month how this goes. I am liking it so I might do carnivore in the winter. I am Norwegian descent and I think it would work well with my genetics. Thanks again. Continue to shine.
Center of Brilliance I’m so glad you are getting your amalgams out. Are you having a holistic dentist remove them safely? Is your dentist trained in the IAOMT protocol? It’s important to have them removed safely so you don’t get exposed to more mercury. I just had 13 amalgams removed last year. I’m hoping for my health to continue to improve in time. If you have any questions or just want to chat about amalgams, detox, etc. hit me up on Instagram. @roblovegreen. Check out this video “TV anchor says mercury fillings gave her MS”. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vrtbjCxHST0.html
fillings and what we know now, get them out asap. my dentist R.I.P. was hip early on replaced em all years back. Everyone, take the best care of yourself you can and have gratitude. my 2 cents
In how many days did you see improvement? Also how many years have you struggle with physical movement like walking ?did you stop all medication when you start carnivore diet ?
do you eat eggs?Or you just tried meat only?Got MS for about 14years,no medication. My legs getting weaker and weaker. Thanks for your story, keep goin.Best wishes from Berlin/Germany
Wow. It sounds terrifying. So glad that you've found a protocol that enables you to manage your symptoms! I'm especially excited to see MeatRX and Dr. Baker's emphasis on supporting and organizing research. meatrx.com/category/research-articles/ Thank you for speaking up, fighting stigma, and sharing your center of brilliance!
Hi Emily, I just watched your video after someone from the "Carnivore Tribe" sent it to me. I have been Carnivore for over 30 days and have seen small improvements, mostly with speech. I have had MS for 16 years and was just told that I am moving from the RRMS to secondary progressive MS. That just means I wont go into remission anymore and I refuse to accept that answer from the doctors. Hence the diet change to carnivore. I also know my meds don't work and I am hoping to get rid of them all together once my body fully adapts. I have dysphasia and vision problem, cognitive problems, and slow broken speech, along with the balance issues and coordination. I am supposed to use a walker but I am too young; I can't bring myself to do it. I hate the cane because my arm tremors and it still feels unstable, I fall a lot. But at this point I would rather fall than feel even more disabled. My MS has gotten to the point where they stopped counting lesions in my brain and are worried about some in my spinal cord. I am really hoping this WOE diet is going to halt the progression if not improve my current symptoms. My many doctors keep encouraging a Vegan diet, but I am very against that and don't have anyone in the medical community that supports my decision to go Carnivore. I am encouraged by your story and I wanted to thank you for sharing. God Bless.
How are you doing now? Are you still eating 100 percent carnivore? Do you incorporate any raw beef? Some swear by eating some or all raw because when you cook meat you lose some nutrients, vitamins etc. Thanks.
Do you mind me asking what type of MS you have? My father passed away from MS when I was 8. I'm in my 40's now. My husband's brother was diagnosed with MS a few years ago.
They never got that far in my diagnosis because I stopped having symptoms. I’m assuming they would call it the relapse remitting one but my symptoms just haven’t come back in three years. 🤷🏻♀️
I saw on an earlier video that you were doing carnivore you were on food stamps. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind talking about what you actually bought so I can maybe get some idea's from what you did to make it work. Thank you.
I don’t understand the MRIs. They just look like cauliflower to me. The neurologist just says that my MS is still active. He won’t say if it’s improved or not. He’s frustrated that I won’t take medication.
@@emilypenton interesting. Maybe you should find another neurologist. I know that is much easier said than done. I am so curious if the lesions have shrunk though. I saw another video on here of someone showing their MRI side by side and the white spots had clearly shrunk which made me feel really hopeful. Maybe you're have shrunk but your neurologist is so set in conventional medicine that he doesn't want to admit that there is improvement or he believes the medication is so necessary that he doesnt want you to think that diet can replace drugs. I think you should ask for copies of the images. The others I have seen are pretty obvious because the lesions are white and the rest of the brain is grey.
if the ms has gotten to the level of being in a wheelchair with some paralysis ... do you think this way of eating could help the nerve damage regenerate and with therapy regain the ability to walk.
It won't harm you any further, I certainly would try it and see what happens. Eat only meat, fish, fat, lots of fat, natural or Himalayan salt (no iodine salt), coconut oil, butter, lard, coffee or tee are ok. and water.
I have heard testimonies that people that had MS went on vacation before it got worse and they had to get treated for poisoning from the artificial sugar in their soda drink and they recovered totally from MS that's that was the cause.
Yes, artificial sugar can poison us. It is toxic. But real sugar is also toxic. And so are carbs. Avoid all of them including oils, all oils. Only use fat, butter, coconut oil, and some olive oil.
Many women are initially misdiagnosed w/ MS before a brain MRI or lumbar puncture because of their over use of artificial sweetener s thinking it will help them lose weight. The build up of artificial sweetener in your body can very much produce the same symptoms of early MS.
@@emilypenton Sounds like the usual response when medicine did not do the healing. The recovery is from a highly nutritious food, called meat. And from the avoidance of toxins such as sugar, oils, and crap food.
They hadn’t gotten that far before my symptoms resolved. I would assume relapsing/remitting but I have had no symptoms since May 9th 2019. The last MRI I had the neurologist said there was no new activity and he doesn’t want to see me for a year since I won’t take their medication and I have no symptoms. 🤷🏻♀️
A lot of the experts we follow recommend to eat grass-fed wherever possible and organic. They also said if you can't then don't stress, still follow the diet and only buy the grass-fed/organic whenever your budget/availabilities permit
That is quite possible! Only time will tell! Wouldn’t be amazing if your diagnosis of me is wrong though? All I know is that I’m not going back to sugar and carbs regardless if my symptoms come back. I feel best eating beef and beef fat!
I drink black coffee, unsweet tea, distilled water (even in my ice cube trays) and rarely when I drink, I have bourbon on the rocks but usually I can only tolerate one glass.
I have ms and I have started carnivore on 1st of January this year. I feel kinda ok but constantly constipated and bloated. I eat beef, poultry, seafood and fish, no bacon, no eggs or dairy. But I recently had a relapse and everything went downhill. More and more bloating, difficulty walking, ms hug... Coach Sally from Steak& Butter gang suggested I talk to you. I don't use any social media (everything is banned here where I live) but if you see this message... I actually don't know what to say. I just wanna kill myself already. Too tired
No, I never did get into soda or any drinks that were carbonated or sugary. I was super blessed to have been raised on unsweet tea and water. Soda addiction is NO joke! It’s been a huge struggle for some of my clients.
