Carol's favorite vase springs a few leaks at the dinner table -- but the question is, who broke it and how?! #BradyBunch | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/BradyBunch
I love how Peter's siblings had his back. Taking the blame for something they didn't do so he wouldn't have to miss his camping trip. Though they did lie, they did it for a good reason. Their hearts were in the right place.
"Anyone have three coins for the fountain?" Always like Alice to have a sense of humor and to crack wise jokes just to lighten the mood a little, especially whenever something goes wrong.
The other day I was watching this episode and it dawned on me that you can't see the water in the vase with all those flowers in it. She would have never known if they just put the flowers in it without water. Then they could have put water in it later after the glue was set. Oh I know it's only a TV show, but my mind works this way. 😅
Assistant Producer to assistant prop guy: “Here’s $3.00. Run down to Woolworth’s and get a big vase for that scene where it leaks. Whatever is on sale.”
Funny how the kids just go about eating their supper, pretending that they don't know anything about the vase being broken while Mike glares angrily at them like, "You kids are in BIG trouble!"
YEs such a great father figure in television. Looks like a really nice guy, too. Kim! I grew up with this show I am a few years younger than Cindy! This was my world! Kim
Since the vase wasn’t clear glass, they should have not put water in it. Nobody would know. 😂Anyway, I broke the vase. I did it telekinetically through my phone 😁
I was totally thinking the same thing; ha, ha!!! They were just little kids though, and so honest and pure, that they wouldn’t even think of something so clever yet simple as this…. Children are so innocent, and sweet🦋♥️🤱🏻☮️✅🌎👍💞👼👼🧚🏼♀️🧚🏼♀️🙏💯🌟☦️💒🌈🎶⬆️🤩💌😇😇☯️♾️
They would’ve figured it out eventually, once the flowers died and were thrown away, either Carol or Alice would’ve seen the vase didn’t have water in it and wondered why
The incidental music is one of the best things about the show. I thought the biggest miss of the 1995 movie is that they didn’t use more of it (they mostly just used variations of the theme song).
That was funny when the vase started too leak and the kids were chowing down fast because they covering up for Peter. Mike and Carol were wondering who broke the vase and glued it back together.
Carol's dress is a clear example of the fashionable esignificance of collars! With all the ruffs, points, and other business throughout history, collars are meant to look like they are creating a picture frame for the face! Her garment here literally creates a white block from which her head springs that says, "look here!"
I believe this was episode season one ground episode six they were such a great age right here and you gotta love that they’re seated all basically with boy girl age all symmetrical such a classic show you’ve gotta love the music score here
I think even Alice gave a false confession to breaking the vase, claiming she was dusting and accidentally knocked it over, which Mike and Carol obviously didn't buy.
Whose hand was that at 2:21? It wasn't Greg's because it belonged to an older man. It wasn't Mike because he was busy wiping his face with his napkin using both of his hands and didn't even notice until Carol made a fuss.
As a kid when i watched this i thought the same thing. They went into the kitchen alone with no one watching they could have said there was water in the vase. I mean it wasn't even a clear vase it would hide the fact it was empty . Me as a kid looking at TV kids yelling at my screen DUMMIES ! lmao
They shouldve dropped the vase intentionally in the sink when they were filling it up and claimed that it slipped by accident. That way Mike and Carol couldnt have gotten mad at them.
When Mike told the kids that he wanted to know after dinner who broke the vase, that would give the kids time to make up lies. Most parents would demand an answer right then and there.
Always wanted to know whose finger tried to plug the leak at the table. It wasn’t Mike because he didn’t realize it was leaking until Carol alerted him.
I remember watching this when it aired, I was around 9. Missing the trip seemed like a harsh punishment especially in the Brady family. But even at that age I couldn't believe the parents would cancel a trip they had paid and arranged for.
They made it so obvious they were all involved by pretending to not notice lol. Somebody clearly never taught those kids you need to act shocked by something if you don't want anyone to think you're involved.
It was a group project to repair the vase, except for Peter. Why did Greg and Bobby even bother to put water in the vase? The flowers were so jammed in there, there was no way to see if they even put water in it.
They weren't going to. But then Carol or Alice sees they weren't going to add water and reminds them. Maybe not in this clip. But it is in the episode.
All they had to do was drop the vase in the kitchen and say it was an accident. "Oh Gosh, I'm so sorry mom! Let me clean that up for you!" Case closed.
