This delightful waltz by the great Turlough O'Carolan is just lovely to play - sheet music for this arrangement can be found here if you'd like to have a go at it yourself! tamsindearnley...
Ahhhh so beautiful!!! And on the Ravenna 26, it sounds perfect!! I have one & love it!! Get compliments all the time on how much that little harp can project!!
Hello! Oh, I do apologise - thank you so much for mentioning this! I thought I had updated all my links when I migrated the shop, but this one I seem to have missed. I've updated it now, but here it is as well: tamsindearnley.co.uk/sheetmusic/?id=carolans-cottage I hope you enjoy it!
My dear Tamsin, Each listening to your interpretations is a moment of pure pleasure for me who loves the work of the great Turlough O' Carolan so much. Your arrangement is magic, and allowed me a beautiful journey in music. Thank you for this beautiful artistic gift, and wishing you a very nice weekend. Musically, Phil
Ahhh yes you can! I love arranging for 26 strings - you have to be just a little bit more careful to make sure things sound balanced, but it's really worth it to have a piece you can play with a more easily transportable harp...!
Hello! The range of this arrangement goes from C below middle C (C3) to 3 Ds above middle C (D6), so it may need some tweaking to work, I'm afraid - that being said, with double strings your hands can overlap much more so you could probably do a bit of re-arranging if you're willing to!
