Not only does playing warmups give the corps horn players a workout, conducting also give directors a workout! THAT's another fundraising idea for these Pandemic times -- CROWN CONDUCTOR WORKOUT VIDEOS FOR THE NON-MUSICIAN!
This is my favorite Crown show ever. This Hornline was absolutely insane and one of the loudest I’ve ever heard. I wish I bc puke go back and watch this show live again
If you really look in the background beyond the rear of the line you notice every person you see is Frozen in place they don't move ... I think they've been hit with the epicness of what they are hearing
Star of Indiana did this piece in 1993. It's called "Medea's Dance of Vengeance" and it actually has been quite a popular piece in DCI. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hTUDt-Y4ATI.html
There was one time we warmed up with our band for our parade and all the other bands were there we were the better band in the district and when we warmed up it was the best and loudest warm up and everyone sgev eyes
I don’t know if there is a term specifically for the resolution, but normally the dissonant chord would be called a cluster chord. So maybe a cluster chord resolution? Idk, an actual music major would need to comment.
It’s not really a song. It’s part of their warmup. This marching band which is called Carolina Crown, was warming up for the DCI Finals, and the really loud part you hear was a part of their show. If you want the show name though, it was called “Relentless”.
