I also own the new formulation, and it is my most complimented frag (especially by females). That being said, I own some huge compliment getters like The One, ADG profumo, La Nuit, Bleu de Chanel, etc. But CH Men beats them all on compliments! :D It also lasts around 5-6 hours on me, just like you said

i had the vintage and it lasts roughly the same as the new formulation...one of the few i bought again through eBay made sure vintage was in the description and got lucky...btw in the summer heat as long as you don't overspray it still performs for almost 6 hours with that sugary sweetness

I might have just committed the exact same mistake. I made sure to ask if I would be receiving the same bottle design if I purchased. The only reason I pulled the trigger is because the picture shown isn't the common fragrance ad in most listings. The bottle listed is a tester and the pictures look like the seller took them. He sold 2 in one day and then increased the price, so I bought it. There are 2 (of 9) left right now and he has increased the price, but if you consider buying, keep in mind that this seller cancelled my transaction (without warning; apparently something wrong with the address I've always used) and increased the price in what I obviously suspect was an attempt to charge me more. Sketchy, to say the least. Great video, man. Will check out more of your channel.

Wow 2016 review....I also noticed Fragrance X does that also...I went to buy Roja Enigma from Fragrance X and they had a picture of the Old Roja Enigma bottle so i bought it....When i received it i got Roja Enigma Cologne.....Really tricky people can be Justin so i do no what your saying! I no these are two different fragrances but what they did was kind of similar to what your saying!

Oh my God! that is driving me CRAZY! I have the same problem! I see a picture of ch with the tie and when I buy it its totally different package! I called headquarters asking for an explanation to see if they can finally clear this out! thank you for your video.

The only time I seen the old formulation is at the smaller perfume shops. They still carry it in gifts sets, and it's not marked up.

Nice review as always! This is my wife's favorite fragrance, she absolutely loves it! Although, I am a little disappointed in performance and you may get "0" compliments, unless someone gets really close to you to give you a hug or a kiss.

Finally got a bottle of CH Men, after having the Prive for a while. Much prefer the original over Prive. Lovely. Will be getting worn a lot.

This summer I saw like 10 bottles of vintage and passed by them. Hate the vintage, hate that stale grass freshness. The new ones, they stay on my skin longer. I get less of the grass, more of sweet leather. And I know many ppl complain about lasting power but on me, this lasts 6 hours easily. On my skin even The One EDT lasts 10 hours no problem. I had issues with original formulation of ch men where after an hour, no one could smell me. Maybe my skin eats everything that is more fresh... but when it's sweet, when with high in spices, leather, tonka, vanilla... it stays on and on and lasts. Sadly, I can't say the same about la nuit which obviously is gone within 30 mins no matter who wears it. On a side note, I applied 20 sprays of new la nuit and 30 mins no one could smell it. I could detect it barely. Thank god I have 2014 still which is light years compared to 2016. Man I like what I'm seeing in your reviews. keep it up.

One of my all time favs. Do to unavailability I currently have to settle for Trussardi's 'My land'. Which is what Prada carbon is to Dior suavage...Close but no cigar.

Of my 200+ fragrances, Carolina Herrera CH Men (2009 bottle with ribbon adornment) is easily in my top ten. I don't find her CH Men Privé as appealing, by far. Best wishes to you, friend. .

this stuff is strong on my skin (new formulation). 3 sprays are enough and people can smell you 5 feet aways in the first hour

I feel your pain on this one. I had the same problems when I was trying to find vintage LIDGE. I'd buy the bottles from ebay auctions and even a bottle from Amazon, showing the vintage bottles and then I'd get new formulation bottles sent to me. Trying to get batch codes from eBay sellers is a nightmare. Most don't even respond to the message. Those that do, in my experience, either get defensive, like you're accusing them of selling a fake, or act suspicious of you and ask you why you want the batch code. Reformulations are a pain in the ass. They turn something that should be simple, like buying a fragrance, into something time consuming and frustrating.

Hi, guys :) I bought a new bottle (notino) with golden cap, batche code is D2611. and idk guys its terrible on me.(5min and skin close, after 1 hour and i cant smell anything).. also i cant check the batche cuz every site wrote a error. maybe fake? :(

Man I’m not the only one with this problem lol. I smelled that same bottle with the ribbon and went home and thought about it. Then I came back looking for it at the store and couldn’t find it. I searched online as well. So I tried the new formulation and I was like it’s the same so bought that bottle lol.

The newer one smell the same ,, i use CH men by 6 years,,,,the last time i bought the new formula,,,,,,, and it is the same. On my skin smell 12 hours!!

I did niff this cologne batch 2014 with red ribbon,but no longevity and no projection-what's a shame Carolina Herrera?the newest batchs 10 times a better then 2014 red ribbon formulation!!!

i can still see some vintage formulation here in the Philippines . it is still on malls but the prices here is like two times in the Us. also 2013 batch of la nuit some malls here still have it.

greaaaat vid ok let me tell you, you are lucky I have both new and old formulation. Lucky you. The new formulation I got which is exactly your bottle, but the 100 ml version... My performance totally totally sucks. people told me they couldnt smell it after 30 min application. ( 5 sprays ) The old formulation ... It lasted as you mentioned... 6 hours, and projected good amount of time. You know I have this funny sotry where I applyed the new version 5 times on me, 10 min later i am in a car, no windows open. I asked, do you smell my perfume, the 2 persons sitting upfront said nonon why. lol So you just made a mistake man, i had the old formulation with the exact same box you mentionned that it is the new bottle with it. Both the old and new version have the same bottle. But , if you get that bottle with all the ch logos. like all small ch men like you said... you are 100% sure to have the old formulation. Also like you man, i have been asking sellers. Its funny how you didnt even smell the old formulation and you were like crazy into this shit. Imagine me, i have smelled the one before. I think you might got the old one. SOme people have said the newer bottle project even better. I guess i am with the ones who got the shit fake or something. furhtermore, my new bottle smell a little different, but it gives me headeach... I even been asking for batch numbers because before 2015 it was not been reformulated...
