This isn't Panthers fans first rodeo. We've seen three head coaches and three interim head coaches part ways with the team since David Tepper became owner 6 years ago. I like this new guy's vibe, but as Mike Tyson once said: Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Time will tell if he's the real deal or just another poser. Here's hoping for the best! Keep Pounding!

@@chevyjr1862 yes to a degree bryce is cold blooded in the sense that he’s so calm no matter what is going on dave canales is just trynna build thst confidence so he will be more comfortable to play how he should he’s a team builder and a leader he’s not gonna shit on bryce because 1 bad season with a bad offense with bad staff and a bad owner especially when bryce was a dog all the way up until last year i mean really just look at baker didn’t he win a heismen and was a great college qb but between injury’s bad play calling and coaches using a not so player friendly way of coaching i assume he plays like shit but when you build the guys confidence and he knows you believe in him and will work with him he’s gonna give his all and play his ass off for you to make you proud for one and for 2 because he is confident enough to trust his team and trust his ability to make plays i mean what did they want dave to do come the panthers and be like well bryce is dog shit he only played 1 season with the worst offense in the nfl he should be released and we will trade everything we have to get someone better then this guy and his piss poor performance

Here’s the thing. This is not college football, if you lack the drive and can’t lead a team when you’re a qb and play like a scared little girl, you’re getting demolished up and down the field, I see him getting benched next season especially after the end of this season where he just gave up and threw away the ball 3 times in a row when he wasn’t pressured and had receivers open.

Hopefully they keep starting him all year even if he is bad so we can get a high draft pick and he will have 2 yrs of bad tape so Morgan can have a reason to tell tepper we need a real qb1

Think it will be better it couldn’t get any worse. Love they are being positive about Bryce but let’s not forget, Bryce had 4/5 star players at every position and were favored to win every game. Not a lot need to feel flustered because he was definitely flustered last season. I’m putting my trust and hope they can turn this around. Keep Tepper far away.

It is his first HC job ever, of course he is upbeat right now, and of course to the media he has to say things to build up the confidence of his struggling overpriced first overall pick last year. Go back and watch Frank's first interviews and he was pretty hopeful and upbeat as well - the season, the front office, and the team sucked the life out of him. I hope that behind closed doors Canales is being critical of everything we were doing last year including the quarterbacking. I also hope that if he comes to the same conclusion as Frank (that Bryce needs to be benched at some point) that Tepper doesn't interfere this time and keep him out there anyway.

When Bryce threw the pick 6 to cement the loss to Georgia in the CFP championship, he looked the same i.e., cool, calm and collected and showed no emotion on the sideline that's 💯 a Jay Cuttler vibe.

Cold blooded or not, Bryce's future with the Panthers will be based on his ability to win games. Even Tepper won't be able to save the guy if the Panthers aren't able to string some wins together this year.

I'd like to break even with 8 Wins...then get our first round pick....in 25....and let's go from there... let's get some weapons in the bldg before we cast Young out....I mean in one breath we say we don't have Noone to throw to...run game wasn't there.... now if you had a recieving core like, Miami or Philly or, Cincinnati than it would make since... coach was dry in Frank....now we got a young guy that's seems to be enthusiastic about being there...let's see what happens....for everyone that has or started a career in something, and your first day on the job and you didn't need no assistance or know one to propel you....than your one of a kind.....
