I've seen quite a bit of people in the city lately zooming about on the stand-up scooters with the much smaller tires. Looks like they're becoming a more affordable option over a full size e-bike. Most of the people I saw had a helmet, elbow & knee pads and a backpack for storage. :)
If you buy an aftermarket display either the same model or something different I'm sure you can unlock the speed. I bought the same unlocked display for my gotrax and picked up 3mph for about $20 CDN. It's probably artificially locked at 20mph to be compliant with a class 2, or just to save the battery as it's only a 10amp hour. This would actually make a nice little camp bike for trips to town, etc, so you're not tearing down your campsite just to get some beers or a few groceries. The middle deck could probably hold a big bad of groceries and you could hold it with your legs, plus you have a decent sized basket. One good thing of only having a 10 amp hour battery is it will charge pretty fast, even on solar.
@@MotoCheez Oh for sure, or even just a bike that can kick around for small trips or to loan to a friend to go on a ride. Because it's so cheap if it gets wiped out and scratched or whatever it doesn't hurt so much and it's still good enough to get some beers. Take care. Still loving my X50.
pretty decent scooter!. i am thinking aout uying an ebike and im thinking about the ridstar q20 pro. any suggestions for a better bike or is that a decent one for that price?. im just looking for something to cruise on the side of the road with and go on some small hills/trails. but i do want lots of power for price
Why is it humming? It’s very loud! I’ve not been able to find a spot to order replace parts or a battery if needed? Or, is this just a throw away item when it dies.
the brakes would have to be changed around. that front to me always has to be on the right side by the throttle. that might be a better scooter for your Florida home.
How's going to check that next, yes sometimes they have that wire You have to unplug. I figure once the LCD display comes in I'll do another video on it and maybe I could figure out how to unlock it by then
I hate how they have a deceptive price on Amazon showing $399, and then there's a $200 shipping and handling delivery charge. It's really noisy in my earbuds. There's a high pitch whining. Is it that loud?
So this would be more of an flat lander scooter? Not a bad price for what you get. I'm scared of those smaller wheeled scooters. One rock away from a broken ankle. Lol
Yes, nothing with any major hills, I'd love to see this style bike with dual 1500 W hubs like the stand up scooters with the small wheels like you said
