This film is not the same one shown on the Avid Carp channel recently. It's my own video diary of the trip to Germany's Mary & Joe Pool when I caught the Lake's big common known as Black Spot. It shows my day-to-day life on the bank during what was a proper 'beat down' from the weather. It was brutally hot for the two week trip, but my persistence paid off when I caught some lovely fish from the very tough venue. Top of the list was the mighty Black Spot at 76lb (34.5kg), a fish believed to be more than 40-years-old.
