I used to live in Alicante and fish a reservoir in a place called Orcheta for carp and in the summer it was crazy - literally a bite every cast using just a simple feeder and sweet corn rig! This video reminds me so much of it! Amazing video guys! Some beautiful fish caught there!

I came back from Gran Canaria on Friday, didnt go Carp fishing but me and my mate did a day out on a boat sea fishing. I caught a Snapper and a Balloon fish. Problem was whenever someone caught a Balloon fish, the crew didnt want them because they're poisonous to eat and their sharp teeth easily cut through the line so we'd all have to reel in and move elsewhere to get away from them! this reduced the amount of time we had to spend fishing and one Balloon fish snapped the whole of my rig off, happened to my mate too. I hooked into what the crew believed was a Stingray and it was like trying to pull up a huge concrete slab, it just wouldnt budge and at one point it swam under the boat so i had to move around to the other side to stay with it and eventually the line snapped...the skipper reckoned the line wrapped round the anchor of the boat and that cut through it so didnt catch it but was an experience, and was knackered after. We all fished with Paternosters with two hooks off the line and using bits of fish and squid as bait, we were fishing where the sea was up to about 90 metres deep and more, and it would take what felt like half an hour to reel in. They were also trolling with three rods but they didnt get any bites, someone caught a Conger Eel (think it was) ugly, evil looking fish lol. I've been to Gran Canaria five times, we dont go there just to fish we do the sea fishing for one day and thats it, we stay in Playa Del Ingles the main holiday resort in a hotel, and i instantly recognized that beautiful port at 29:19 in your video....Puerto Mogan. We never went there when we was in Gran Can last week but have in the past. Was meant to go there but on the day we were meant to go we just went to Maspalomas instead to crash out on top of a sand dune! Anyway great video and i'll ask my mate to see if he's up for doing this if its possible to do just for a day not the whole week and as long as all gear and bait is supplied, so we'll see. Tight lines.

I remember the time, like 10 Years ago, me and my friend bought these fishing magazines with DVDs inside them. We were always soo curious about the footage on those DVDs. Compared to what you guys are giving us, the DVDs were completely ridiculous. Like, in the bad term :D the quality of the footage was less than decent. Nowadays, guys like you are giving us some of the highest-quality fishing footage i have ever seen. Those shots of the night sky were incredible! Thanks so much for giving us this amazing free content of fishing!

If you ever want to have n experience like that again I'd recommend the Missouri River in Montana. I don't know of anyone that uses the European methods there, but plenty of guys fly fish it. Mountains and carp... awesome!
