She was always at her happiest behind the drum kit. Just a beautiful multi talented person. Unbeknownst to us all we would lose her six years later. Karen 🙏

Karen always loved them drums. You could feel the joy she had playing!!! Pretty damn good drummer!!! Karen is frozen in time. She deserved so much more from people around her. I understand you can’t “force” anyone to get help......but I tell you what, I sure as hell would have held her hand as long as I had to. Right by her side until she found the help right for her. I mean. How would I ever decide how much is too much help?? Seems to me. Karen had his back, and she did not receive the same. After her death, I heard many friends say, maybe coulda tried harder or what could have made a deference, however, never heard her family say that. I only heard them say, Matter of factly, she just wouldn’t eat....or didn’t know it was that bad! What?? He sat right behind her with that big ass grin playing the piano, watching her waste away. Pains me to think of the physical and mental anguish she must have had. Karen, I’m sorry we were not able to save you. I wish we could have brought you out of the darkness. I will always remember you as the beautiful, genuine, loving and quite funny woman you were!! Thank you for all you gave me!!💜💜💜💜💜

At around 5:52, she walks around, makes a hand motion, then goes back to the row of toms. When she does this number in the London concert and the First Television Special, she goes back to the drum kit to finish the solo, yet for this one, finishes while still on the toms. I wonder if something went wrong here, so Karen improv'ed? If so (and even if not), awesome job!!
