I love this very much! Karen’s voice is like silk, smooth. Who could forget Richard’s arrangement on this? His musical talent shows here and I think it’s great!
The finest cashmere sweater bundled up by a cracklin' fire on a chilly December eve, the finest silky, unctuous burgundy vintage by your side, along with that special someone, that is how Karen's voice makes me feel. Angelic. Spiritual. Generational. I have adored this woman and her talent from the first time I heard her voice on a warm, sultry July evening in North Carolina in 1970. And it makes my heart beat even faster today in 2024.❤
The fact that she was only 19 or 20 and has that kind of maturity in her voice, is just incredible!! This song touches my soul! 🦋 Thank you for sharing! 💖
My favorite track on the RPO album. The RPO adds some exciting new elements to the song, like the lovely new intro, but without altering the original too much. Very well done!
She was truly gifted as a drummer and a fantastic singer. It's such a shame of what came to be. I know that this was such a struggle for her. I went through my own OCD issues years ago and you want to get better yet you have that monkey on your back. It definitely takes time but you can do it. People always remember that you can do it. Keep the faith
Karen Carpenter brought happiness to a millions of people. I want to think that Karen has some happy moments in her short life since she brought so much happiness to others
Gayle McCormick and the band Smith knocked this out of the park . But when you’re up against Karen, you’re still going to come up a bit short . Just the way it goes. !
