Sally Olson and Ned Mills, stars of Carpenters Legacy, perform "Close To You" at the Carpenters 55th Anniversary Celebration Acoustic Concert on April 25, 2024. This performance was held at the Downey United Methodist Church in Downey, California...home of the Carpenters! The Carpenters frequented this church and it was also where Karen Carpenter's funeral was held on February 8, 1983, in addition to the wedding of Mary and Richard Carpenter on May 19, 1984.
