Hi there, do you have a demo one actually in store in Camberley. I have had varying success at getting an answer to the following question :- I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 running Android Auto which connects perfectly to my Garmin Zumo XT. However it is a 2019 phone and runs Android 10 operating system and no longer upgradeable. I have had some people say that all of these smart screens require Android 11 or newer (Chigee, Carpuride, Innovv N1, etc etc) and some say as long as it runs Android Auto that's all it needs. I would love to come and try for myself before buying one. My Zumo XT does 90% of what all these do and my phone is brilliant for everything I need - I don't want to have to upgrade my phone and also buy a screen just to get a few tiny extra functions. Does the unit perform auto firmware updates or do you need to download the new firmware from the Interphone website and update manually? These units are a great addition to any motorcycle. Thanks for the review.

So the Unit itself is on a fixed firmware. But as it's using Carplay/Android Auto, you're phone should update it's respective app automatically :)

When you wire it in to the bikes aux cable so it switches on when you turn the key to power the bike on I see a red and black wire so what's the yellow wire for?

@zombiejase I would assume the yellow wire is an ignition live like a head unit in a car that way the ignition turning on tells it to power up

How you get the apps on it ? I got one and can’t get half the apps on it, can’t get my Facebook apps on it etc

Mabe you should post a video on how to wire it in thmo the bikes aux socket because half the shops don't even know why there are 3 wires in the loom and by the looks of things neither do you? One shop says tge unit won't poser on without the yellow andxred being attached to live then another says only use the red wire as that's the accessory attachment ?? Apparently the instructions tell you bugger all too?

Can you tell me what tge yellow wire is for please i get the black and red but where does the yellow wire in to only reason i ask is my aux input on my MT09 only has plus and minus so baffled on what tge 3rd yellow wire is for? My garmin zumo xt only had 2 wires as i recall?? Looking at buying one of these too.
