In this video we will be taking a look at CARPRO Spotless. We will be testing this out on a ceramic coating that has a lot of water spots and is starting to lose its hydrophobic's because of it. Will it remove the water deposits as claimed while bringing back the hydrophobic's... Watch and find out!

Great vid - thanks for posting! Funny, use water spot remover to get better beads, beads cause more water spots😃. After washing my vehicle (dark color) for the first time since winter started I noticed water spots on the hood and was horrified. I'm a huge Reset fan so I'll def give this a shot - thanks!

Looks like a solid product. I’ve been using CLEARSR from The Last Coat. Has worked pretty well for me also. A water spot remover is a must to have on hand and the bottle lasts a long time! I love the mango orange color on the charger.

I have been wondering about that product as well. I am thinking I need to get some other brands and do a comparison video because there is so meany options. Thanks for sharing what you use and how its been working for you I like that feed back. Thanks that color really pops when it is clean!

Thanks! It is very impressive, when you clean the scale out of the pores on a ceramic coating it will bring back its hydrophobic property's as long as the coating is still there and good. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching and commenting!

Excellent point that water spots can be there even on surfaces that loom very shiny from a few feet away.

Thanks brother! Yes they can they will really hinder the performance for sure. Thanks it is coming a long and is a huge time suck but it will be worth it in the end. I will have to do a video on the progress of it.

There is nothing wrong with that and it will work very well too but I was the same and my curiosity got me to buy this video haha. Reset is an awesome product and I have really enjoyed all the CarPro products that I have tried so far.

Very helpful. FYI. 2.0 Spotless according to CarPro: Version 2 of CARPRO Spotless utilizes a different blend of acids than the previous Spotless formulas, making it stronger against the most common minerals found in water spots on automotive surfaces, while being gentler on glass.

This worked like magic. I noticed some light water spots on my hood after washing my car today. You can only see the spots with overcast lighting (I dont have garage lighting or detailing lights). I’m not sure how long those spots have been on there, but I hope I can get them off with this!

19:38 how intense would you say your water spots were? I wanna try this product out on my ceramic coating but my water spots are old & etched

I would say they are light to moderate. This product works really well and I would recommend trying it out. If your spots are bad put it in a shaded area and spray the product on and let it dwell for 5 to 10 minutes and then work the product in with a microfiber. Hopefully that helps and thanks for watching and commenting!

Do you think using a rinseless wash would work ok to clean the surface after using the Spotless?

To be honest I think that is a great idea and would work better than what I did in this video. I am going to use a rinseless wash next time I use it because I think it would be more effective. Thanks for your question buddy and question like that is what helps us all out to think outside of the box.

There is a lot of great ones. My personal favorite's would be CarPro Reload, Xtereme Solutions Topper, and P&S Bead Maker.

@@MeanBee392 I've used Bead Maker ( doesn't last long at all), Topper (not bad), Reload ( works great), Reload mixed 50/50 with water ( it's water based, works well and stretches out the Reload) and Elixir ( works about the same as Reload) I still plan on trying Griot's 3n1 Ceramic and Exoforma Graphene Detailer.

That is cool that you have played around with diluting it. Have you noticed any differences in the longevity with diluting the reload?

Weren't you doing regular maintenance washes and reload application every 2-3months to upkeep your coating? How did your paint get to that state full of waterspots?? I'm curious to know if you was religiously maintaining your car and still ending up getting waterspots

I have water spots & they are very hard to see but my detailer did not remove them & coated the truck anyway. So the water spots are under the coating. The coating was done 6 days ago. Will this work for my issue?

Sorry to hear about this but unfortunately if they are under the coating then the coating is going to have to be removed to address the water spots. Have you asked the detailer that did it if he will fix it free of charge?
