Best part of episode is when Arthur tells Doug how excruciatingly tedious his endless story was and the burst of fresh air the neighbor is. Have to replay my DVD. Classic

The joke of shows like this and Everybody Loves Raymond is that the husbands are lazy and the wives are insufferable. It's supposed to represent both sides of marriage so when couples watch the show together they can go... "Oh, my gosh, that's so you." It's the exaggerated reality that makes it funny. Lol, you’re not going to believe this, but this came out last century 1998 (-2007). & when doug gets drive thru, it seems he rarely, gets carrie food. Although, he orders alot, it doesnt seem like carrie gets any. Maybe she does off screen. & you really don’t actually see doug eat the food
