Somebody needs to put Martina McBride Where Would You Be, live at the Flameworthy Awards 2002 up for a vote. They've said that they love Martina so they would absolutely love this one.
Time to start to react to Carrie Underwood live guys! Start with: "Carrie Underwood Blown Away Medley" "Carrie Underwood Paradise City at CMA FEST 2013" "Carrie Underwood Alone live at iheartradio" EPIC!!
They should react to Carrie singing poor everybody else live, where she jumps on the drums and goes crazy. She completely shocked a lot of people. I know I had no idea she could play drums, but the fact she played them as good as I've ever seen anyone play them completely blew me away.
There is a video lurking around on RU-vid of Carrie Underwood singing a medley of legendary women country singer songs. It is live some of the song she covers are by Dolly Parton Reba McEntire Loretta Lynn Barbara Mandrell and Martina mcbride. I'm pretty certain it will probably knock your socks off she does such a good job with it. Also you should react to the live performance of Carrie Underwood and CeCe Winans singing a medley of Christian songs I don't know if you like this type of music but this one definitely blow you away also.😂
Yes the one where she covers the legendary women of country is called “Carrie Underwood - ACM Awards Tribute to the Grand Ole Opry 95th Anniversary” and the medley of gospel songs with CeCe Winans is called “Carrie Underwood - My Savior Performance (Live from the 56th ACM Awards)”. Both are on her official channel. Both are incredible!
Carrie's heart is in country and gospel. When she tried out for American Idol, she was country, and it seemed she was pushed to do more pop, but she stuck to her roots (for a teenager, that's impressive). I wonder how much pressure she gets from a record label to put out more content like this.
I also love Spinning Bottles and The Bullet from the Cry Pretty album (I actually love the whole album) as well as the ones you mentioned and would love to see the guys react to them.
Her cover of Paradise City from guns and roses at the CMA’S is great. Then take a look at her cover of Ozzy “Mamma I’m Coming Home” she did on the Howard Stern Show. Shows her vocal range and power.
Choctaw County Affair is her best live performance I think. Behind How Great Thou Art lol As a bonus that one is also very country. Another good country song of hers (and lesser known) is Wine After Whiskey. It's a personal favorite.
I love Carrie Underwood! My prayers were answered! Carrie is going back to where it all started. She will be the new American Idol judge taking Katy Perry's place next season. I can hardly wait! She's been there & done that & will make an awesome judge!
Definitely more blues than country - but still one of my favourite Carrie songs. So glad you guys found it. Have you done Cry Pretty yet? It's another awesome one. Cheers from Canada! :)
Probably because she's a country artist. But like the Wynona tune, that was a pure blues song. Yesterday, out of curiosity, I pulled up a live version. It's even more bluesey. And better. They used harmonies in the chorus, but zero effects, and she sounded so much better. She's a beast. - Keith
Im a 70 year old woman & have a little piece of advice. Ya'll should stop obsessing over genre and just enjoy the music. Chris Stapleton is blues/ soul/country. And he is more than awesome. You can't & shouldn't put so many labels on music. Just feel and enjoy it.
I've heard that. But being a child of the 80s, it didn't ring with me. While he can't sing his way out of a wet paper bag now, back then, Axl was a vocal powerhouse. - Keith
Great reaction guys! My husband and I fight over the radio channel in the truck, well Siris channel. He likes Prime Country, I prefer Carrie's new channel, which plays a mix of music. I shit you not Crazy Train was followed by Bubba Shot the Juke box the other day... had it been the other way around, i'da had to pullover cause I was laughing hard enough as it was. 'Just A Dream'... Live at the CMAs, I love the video, but that's just the visuals and story, for the music, the live version.
I don't mind when artists decide to cross over and try a song in a different genre. That being said, this song is about as country as Old Town Road! I still really like the song and Carrie's vocals were almost magical!
I linked the best version of Carrie singing this song below! Just her voice and a slight sound of a piano. The drinking alone music video did not do her vocals justice. Seriously, check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bXW9EF8Rl1Q.htmlfeature=shared
I'm afraid I'm going to be the damper on this one, and perhaps I'm just old and stuck in my ways. I agree that Carry has big pipes, but her voice is squealy (is that a word?) and, sorry to say...annoying, and her song choices same as all modern so called country...ain't country. I'm sorry that your trip into country music has been diluted with this non-country, even though you seem to enjoy it. I'm going to figure out how to get you a Canadian rye bribe and get you back into the country music, and there are a ton of artists with various talents and great tunes that you haven't even touched on. Sorry about the rant (I apologize because I'm Canadian I guess;)
@@BourbonCountryReacts So true Keith.... she doesn't have that many songs, how about a deep Dive someday soon? Has Dustin found a new shipping source for bribes? I'll pick a few her fans like, "Cry Baby" and a dozen others! Amelas One
It's hard to beat Carrie at full belt! One of my favorites of hers is "Something in the Water", with a gorgeous music video. This song's story reminds me of a few others - "Hey Bartender" by Lady A, "Let's Fall to Pieces Together" by George Strait, "In Between Dances" by Pam Tillis, and "Straight Tequila Night" by John Anderson.
