Heya! Traveling with only a carry on & personal item, without a checked suitcase can involve a lot of planning and prep. Planning art supplies as part of that too? So many hard choices and compromises to be made! In this video I'm going to talk about the art supplies I brought with me in my carry on backpack and personal item handbag (plus pockets) for a two month stay abroad away from home. The sketchbooks, pencil cases, painting supplies... I didn't go for minimalism even with minimal space lol. It was fun to plan all of this out though, I will say. A mixture of previous experiences, my current art material favourites, and a goal of variety led to the items I'm showing you today. You definitely don't need to bring as much as I did, or as little depending on your perspective! This worked out for me at this moment in time, and I'm happy sharing my perspective. I encourage you to find what works best for you, and what you value in your own art practice while traveling or away from home!
Thank you to sandrarahimi5688 for the video idea in a comment on last week's video.
Also if you stick around to the end I hope you enjoy some Peanut outtakes!
