Welcome back Rail The Gutter-er's! (lol, still working on this)
Due to everyone being locked down, but physical activity still being allowed, a lot of new riders have come out! Its good to see people out and about and enjoying bike riding.
However, if you got bitten by the bike bug, and aren't quite sure where to sort of start (without breaking the bank!), I'll try to have you covered here with this video. So let's just get to the things you will FOR SURE need! (some things are optional)
1. Hand Pump (or C02 Quick Fill (This isn't in the vid since I don't own one, but can be had, but has a tendency of being pricier and quite frankly, I don't mind pumping my bike tires, good extra work out, lol). side note: If you use a floor pump or this sort of mini pump I have, I suggest using a secondary gauge and finding how much of a difference your pump has to an accurate PSI gauge. This will allow you to fill your tires to the correct amount without needing the gauge!

2. Inner Tubes (I cannot recommend a tube because there is a big market for them, but whatever you choose, just have a spare! Absolutely necessary for commutes, daily rides or just riding, or long distance riding, don't leave the house without one because you might regret it! been there and done that, lol).

3. Tire Levers (Really, any will do, but you need them in case you do get a puncture, makes your life a lot easier for switching out a busted tube!)

4. Multi Bike Tool Optional (Any brand will do as long as it is sturdy really! this thing comes in handy, definitely not the lightest thing in the world, but a good one can help you in a last minute pinch!)
(Unfortuntately, Bike Hand doesn't sell my specific multi tool (YC-287B1) online anywhere that I've found anymore! BUT, I found alternatives just like it! )

5. Front & Rear Lights (You can choose to go with the battery operated ones, but you'll soon find out that they are not as bright, and you have to switch out batteries quite often, which can over time cost more than the light itself, sometimes just adding those couple extra bucks for a decent LED set will seriously save you a headache, and make you a lot of visible for safety!)

6. Bike Phone Mount Optional (This isn't an absolute necessity, however, it does come in handy if you need to keep an eye out on where you need to go (assuming you don't have a crazy expensive Garmin or something like that, lol)).
(I was unable to locate the original posting, but I did find a link on Amazon (got mine on eBay originally, this one is like $2 more, no biggie, lol. Again, optional, and if you don't like this one, there are TONS of other options).

7. Saddle Bag or Tool Carrying Tube (Personal preference, this is straight forward, it's really up to you on this one, you can find both for fairly cheap!)

8. TAPE Optional (Honestly, tape comes in handy for a lot of stuff, you and I both know it, I have no other logic other than that, lol).
