I always felt Porsche needs a new 944. As an entry car. I wouldn't mind some kind of sub Corvette (Cayman) Fieroish type car. An RWD s2000/Prelude combo might be interesting. Kind of like the Boxter/Cayman relationship. Mitsubishi needs to heavily embrace their past. Mazda's car line up needs help.

I also feel that all car companies should bring back the styling from the fifties to the eighties car styles all as electric cars and they would probably be selling like hot cakes if they could bring back that styling again

I'd be delighted if I could see Pontiac actually come back and strictly as a performance car company in its re-appearance, even though it may not do me any favors by making me want one, likely a remake of the TransAm in any one of its many awesome colors and/or color schemes they had a while back.

Making a new rx7 would probably be very difficult to do because rotaries are not very good on emissions or fuel economy even if they could pull it off it would probably be quite expensive

They had all the bugs worked out when they killed the Fiero. The last year or two were pretty decent cars. Too little too late. Can’t wait to be stuck out in the woods with a electric Fj with dead batteries. Sounds like a great time.

The El Camino can easily be out done by a lowered Ranger or GMC Senoma , unless it's just the look of a early 80 G body your after . A V6 from the early 2000s has more power than an older V8 , and my 2003 Ranger 4 liter V6 extra cab only weighs 3,000 pounds .

The Viper was a copy of a Cobra, and it was the exact same idea. Only with a bigger engine. The Fiero had a curse. The fact that GM loves the Corvette so much it make all of its other cars commit suicide if the are even rumored to give the 'Vette problems. This car is a good car, but only after you fix the built in problems they were given on purpose. This is the second time they could have had an American Porsche fighter on its hand. And the second time as I believe they scuttled it. The Corvair was the other one. And no, it will not be brought back for the same reason. 10:20. There is already a Brand New Ranchero in production almost, The New "Maverick". A Front(WRONG)Wheel-Srive "truck". And I think I going to have to sadlly say that is the closest we can hope to get to a new one of the real thing and will also expcet a new "El Camino" to be the same thing. The FJ tax? So remakes need to be made for the fd3s, the s2000, the fiero and the mr2,,the viper would be nice but I don't really see that happening with Cafe standards. I think the new Rx series should come with a tweaked , 20b-renesis. The S2000 should become the S2400 to S2800 based on the k series motor and possibly an electric hybrid in their. The mr2 is easy, just make an actual toyota evora(or rather a halway between elise and evora in size), just way better interior and way less money. Hmm the fiero should be an easy thing, really the only thing pontiac(or whoever owns who now)needs to do is design the chassis since it's just a fwd drive train smashed in the back, garage people have been doing it forever, it's not that hard for a fleet of engineers, come on..imagine the g6 with the 6 spd shoved into the back end of a small little sports car...that didn't look like crap...oh and make newer composite panels...say out of nylon and polycarbonate instead of frp, much faster and much stronger. The viper is a bad -ass car but I don't see it coming back unless they scale down the engine or use an mds type system to increase its fuel mileage. A smaller, more compact and newer gen v10 would be awesome, a 7l v10 hemi? Or a 6.5 ohc v10? With narrower bank angles? Maybe make the front end a little shorter to try to make the weight distribution more equal between front and rear

Fiero hands down. If the general brought back the fiero in a 300 mile range or better ev with a 500 hp drive line that would be sick sick sick sick sick. 500 hp. In a 2400lb car. Yes please. And no fuel overhead. But put it in the same price bracket it was initially launched in which by today's standards would be probably in the 25 or 30k range. Still a steal.
