@@ChosenOne6666 I just read the book Smogtown and it took 6 decades + to make the air more breathable in L.A. in particular and whatever it takes to clean the air, so be it, even if it be $6 a gallon gas. L.A. has built an expansive light rail/subway system with the 2nd best bus system in the country, so there's an option for the car-centric.

And yes, it is actually happening in the US as well. Just because this story is only talking about a part of the problem that is going on in Mexico, doesn't mean that it isn't happening elsewhere.
