Ironic that this character never showed up again after he decided to stay in the year 2015, until he was brought back as an Easter egg in the 2012 series.

I do think that Carter is a character that's worth giving another shot again, if Venus can get another chance in the IDW comics. I think there's room for Carter too & to truly flush him out better as another supporting human character to the turtles other than April and Casey~

Part of me does hope they eventually revisit Carter in a future TMNT adaptation… 😌

I think Red Sky seasons needs a more love than 87 sacrilege seasons.

Even though he doesn’t have much appearances, but in the original, Carter seems to be like a better version of Casey Jones . I wish someday he and Casey are the same person.

I hope NECA will make a Figure of him also like they did with Zach.

In Season 10 (1996): Carter get taken away to the future to get his mutation cured (Turtles to the Second Power). We never see or hear from him again, so whether or not the cure was successful: we'll never know.

I felt that Carter was never forgotten, just ignored. They shoulda have included Carter and his transportation in the new TMNT Shedder Revenge Game. I would have accepted him more than April.

I always liked Carter. He was cool, smart, but also hip and full of himself but learned. He's basically to 80s Donetello, what 2003 Casey is to 2003's Raphael. But unfortunately he spawned and died on this show.

Carter should come back one day. 😀👍🐢

When these seasons came out, my older brother compared this character to RC3 from the last season of Knight Rider.

You know, in the Batman TMNT adventures comics issue 6, there's a African American boy who's dressed like Carter in the crowd of people.

You think he would have fitted in the IDW comics because he could be useful in the Armageddon game which has begun and I thought he was inspired by Keno from Secret of the Ooze.

I have mixed feelings on Carter. His addition did help to revive my interest in the series. However, it also felt like an intrusion as well since the series already had lots of potential characters who could aid the turtles. When season 9 originally came out, it was a mixed bag. If you missed one of the serialized episodes, then you knew you were missing something and that was a major problem back in the 90s.It made me want to tune in each Saturday to find out what was going to happen. I didn't get a chance to see season 10 until a couple of years back. As an adult, I can appreciate the red sky seasons since they seem more maturely written. It's hard to watch season 3 in comparison. I got away from TMNT after The Secret of the Ooze and only saw an episode of season 4 and after here and there until season 9.

I'm surprised that there was no mention on Carter's superficial resemblance to the foreground character on the front cover of TMNT comic book issue #3.

Network meddling (CBS) was also responsible for Shredder and Krang being Put on a Bus and replaced by Dregg during the ninth season. They also forced the show's creators to introduce a "hip" new character, eventually resulting in Carter (who was pretty much an African-American Expy of Keno from the second TMNT movie). After these changes weren't liked by the fans, rather than admit they might have been slightly misguided in these demands: “the executives fired head writer David Wise* & replaced him with Jeffrey Scott (who had never even watched the series before): *speeding TMNT '87 to its demise.*

For characters like Carter and Cody Jones they are better thought of as disposable characters since they never appeared in any adaption (especially since it is during less than memorable seasons) and are not significant enough to be brought back.

I like the 03 show more but Carter was definitely better than Cody in Fast Forward.
