on the bright side, at least they convinced you not to vote for him :P real life campaign ads are meant to horrify the watcher into not voting for a certain candidate, and these promos did a good job at that if you were scared.
I remember there being at least one more plank ad. It started off with a guy criticizing plank saying how he's just a piece of wood who can't do anything. The man then suddenly starts hitting himself on the head with plank as if plank is retaliating against the man. It ends with announcer guy saying something along the lines of "Plank gets the job done. Plank really likes this ad!" Does anyone else remember this?
Guys, do none of you realize this was all subtle satire for the actual 2004 election?? Think about it! Ed and Grim are Bush and Cheney (re-electing, Ed being an idiot like Bush, Grim being a warmonger like Cheney according to Numbah One), especially! Just watch all of it again with that in mind and just TRY to tell me I'm wrong!
I remember that the first ad in this collection and the last one messed me up real bad when I was 8 haha. Also the "trust us" background is super creepy.
I've been born in march 1999, but started watching that show only in 2007 till 2013, witch various broadcasting time. 2013 was the last year it was broadcasted here, only one or two episodes after 1pm.

You realize just how slandering or manipulative each ad is now, especially when real election ads aren't that far off. Ed and Grim demonize their opponents a lot more than the other two, and while Numbuh 1 and Eduardo seem no different, they have a significantly more authoritarian edge. Plank is the third-party environmentalist that seems more genuine but is just as guilty of projecting a clean-cut image and stands on issues that alienate most voters. In all seriousness, I just love how well these ads work in the name of satire. (I voted for Plank)

Two characters named ed, (I'm counting eduardo as an ed), and two charcters from Ed, Edd, and Eddy. If that didn't say Ed was destined to win from the start, i don't know what was.
As people point out Ed didn't win the first election, scooby doo did so why does it say to re-elect Ed? Maybe Ed was Scooby's vice president and Scooby had to step down resulting in Ed becoming President
