Yeah. It was obviously hypocritical for the clerk to refuse to sell him shoes just because he didn't have any. After all, that was the point of him buying them.
@@kevinlane1219 I might be 6 months late but im guessing during the epidemic, people were refusing to sell masks to people because they weren't wearing masks. It sounds crazy but from what I've seen, people can be downright insane and stubborn sometimes ^^

Fred has to be my favorite character in this bumper. His frustration gets me every time, especially near the end where he goes, "That sign doesn't say PANTS!"
Good times. Back when Cartoon Network had some excellent cartoons to work with. Wish there was a series on Cartoon Network that was just this; Cartoons living in the real world and just living life with its hardships. The misadventures, the shared lores, the various chemistries each character plays off one another… I think it’d make an awesome series.
The funny thing is, for much of my childhood, I thought the bumpers WERE an actual series on Cartoon Network, not just what they actually were. Keep in mind, I was a little kid when this stuff came out. It WOULD be cool if that were an actual series. Maybe get some of the VAs that were a part of it to come back. I think it would get some traction nowadays, if only by nostalgia alone.

This bumper is set up like a bad joke: "So-- Fred Flintstone, Huckleberry Hound, Quick Draw McGraw and Weasel walk into a gas station... that has a posted shirts/shoes policy. None of them wear both shirts *and* shoes. Weasel at least has a jacket, McGraw didn't bring his guitar, Fred just needs to take a leak, and Huck is checking out the magazines... The clerk is having none of this cartoonishness"

One of the many best CN bumpers ever! I like this bumper and the Sidekicks one. Ah, Back when Cartoon Network was really great and It still is one of my favorite channels of all time.

I work as a manager at a fast food restaurant, and just the other day, i literally did have to deny service to some lady for not wearing a shirt. She did not take it well. Im talking Karen levels of over 9000.
I still don't understand how the hell would the idea of getting Quick Draw McGraw to wear all those pieces of clothes in order to get service help Fred Flintstone to use the bathroom 😂😂
Damn, the shop owner was kind of a jerk in this. I mean, it isn't like these characters were fully naked. Plus, Fred is a caveman for pete's sake. It's not like shoes were invented in the stone age. XD
