This brought back so many good memories from the summer of 04, 05, and 06.

Check it! The City era was definitely the best era by far. Great announcing by our lovely hostess Nikki as well as amazing music that gave ya the real city feel as well as summer feel as well :) Not to mention you know....the whole 2D cartoons in an awesome looking 3D world of course ;)

I was 14 when the switch from Powerhouse to City happened, and I enjoyed it. While I prefer Powerhouse, the City years were good too.

About the powerhouse era, i loved that era too, and for a time i really was debating which was better and to tell ya i can't decide. Powerhouse is awesome for the nostalgic acme styled wackyness though their creative bumpers, but City is awesome too for the feeling of unity between cartoons in a cool city. They are both the best CN has ever had for sure and i would be 100% cool with either one of them coming back for real. Together they would be a masterpiece. If only the old CN head came back.

ughh i get all sniffy and nostalgic when i see this, i see this and remember my childhood, my happiest times, its a shame that there are no reminders on tv anymore...or anything worth remembering years from now. cuz lets face it, im gonna forget all about MAD and adventure time and all that crap but i will never forget all these shows....BRING CN CITY BACK Dx

Whenever I saw the Mucha Lucha symbol, I always thought that it was a color error.

I say that the both CN city and Check it are tied. CN city not only had the girl announcer but they had each of the Cartoon Network characters do the announcing too like Numbuh 1 from KND for example in this video. When it was daytime they do the daytime bumpers and when it's night they do the night bumpers so i kinda prefer this a little more than Check it.

Hi, does anybody remember the new city bumpers where the character icons were bigger and the circles were red? I'm looking for the bumper that had those but aired during Fridays, and it had a electric guitar track playing. Its driving me crazy that I can't find it. If someone can help me, that'd be great.

These are good but the check it coming up next bumpers are slightly better. The check it announcers sound like they have more enthusiasim in thise bumpers.
