@Madison 07 yeah, those were the times. 2000 had some good ones too. Recess, dany phantom, Jimmy neutron, justice league unlimited etc. Shame cartoons today are not the same.
As a kid this stuck with me a lot bc I never really seen anything like this on tv related to my culture so the fact that you uploaded this just blew my mind I can’t believe I forgot about this, so happy that people are really getting into the beautiful art and tradition of my people.
Haha, when I was a little kid, I found this so damn epic that, when Kabong appeared resurrected and destroyed those guys and their train...manly tears rolled down my cheeks...and that damn metallic giant guitar was just as badass and legendary as a weapon as Excalibur. Haha, sweet childhood.
As a child, this one literally scared me to death for some reason. I would watch this, but I watched this at a distance at my stairs where I can still see the TV, coming back to this. It's still amazing to see all of these again.
That metal guitar was dope as hell. And I never connected this one to the other Quick draw mini cartoon they also did cause it was in an entirely different style
This gives me memories of staying up well throughout the night just watching Boomerang. It was usually just Tom and Jerry, but every once in a while I’d get something else. And I loved the movies that would play every once in a while. Miss those days.

I remember that as a young girl, whenever I saw that camera my heart would drop and I would sit up straight because I was so scared of this short film. And when I saw that poster, I would literally run out of the room and come back in once it was finished. The skulls and that man scared the living heck out of me, and my brothers would force me to watch it just for fun (sad times). I've been trying to find this film, and it brought back so many memories. I'm still low-key uncomfortable around it, but I don't feel like running out of the room anymore, haha!
@James A. Meadow I remember watching The OG Powerpuff Girls on Boomerang when they showed this during the break and it was trippy as hell to watch this.
FINALLY! Someone who understands. My brothers would play this just to make fun of me for being scared of this. Every time I saw the “red tape”, I would go to my moms room. Now I can watch this without feeling weird. I can vibe to this lol.
Same. I was so scared of this, I hid under my parents bed and waited for it to be gone. My brother would even skip it because I always was scared of it. Not so scared now that I am older and watching it again brings a lot of nostalgia.
Holy shit, you’ve just unearthed a long forgotten memory for me with this video. Even though I’m seeing it now, it still feels like a fever dream that never happened. Funny thing about this; I was randomly thinking about this VERY particular thing last week. Now I feel so happy to see it again for the first time in forever. This popping up in my recommendations could NOT have been a coincidence.
This was the kind of stuff that made boomerang, BOOMERANG! Why did they do nothing with boomerang- its a useless channel atm, and its really disappointing...
I remembered watching most of the old boomerang at my mom’s parents house many years ago with my cousins, and we would watch short films like this. Where did those days go.....?
