I JUST RANDOMLY STARTED SINGING "oh my darling oh my darling" AND I FINALLY REMEMBERED WHERE I GOT IT FROM AND THIS USED TO BE MY FAVORITE PART IN THE ENTIRE CHANNEL.
I love how creative these shorts were and how much time and energy it must’ve taken to make them. I miss this Boomerang and I wish they hadn’t of changed for money.
I miss creativity in animation. 2000’s was a golden age because computers were cheap enough to be affordable to most animators but not so ubiquitous that every animator learned to animate on a computers. All of this led to an explosion of creativity like these shorts.
The Atom Ant short terrified me when I was younger. Whenever the title card came on screen, I would run and hide. The art style is what freaked me out. (Seriously though, why did they make that elephant look as uncanny as they possibly could?)
Ah yes. That time Cartoon Network hadn't conceived of the idea for Cartoon Network City, and they got super experimental. Also, Huckleberry was willing to break some kids' necks just to unleash his banshee wail on an unsuspecting populace.
God I fucking love these Boomerang groovies. They reminded me so much of adult swim. Now it's just Cartoon network smeared all over the channel. I used to sing to these all time and memorized them for years on end. They will be missed.
I remember they showed this slot, along with el Kabong,Alligator Liberation,The Latte short with Droopy,The QuickDraw Mcdraw one and the Johnny quest board game one.I loved them all
When I was 6 years old, living in my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona my grandfather and aunt used to babysit me and they would watch all of these Boomerang Cartoons and shorts with me along with the rest of 2006 Cartoon Network. It is nostalgia that will be burned into my memory forever and I love it.
I always loved the old version of Boomerang when I was younger. Every morning while I get ready for school and every night. It brings back so much nostalgia
Yes yes!!!!! I freaking loved this short when I was 7. I thought it was funny. Those old Hanna barbera cartoons are BETTER than cartoons nowadays espessily (shiver) breadwinners😰 These Hanna barbera cartoons are the opposite of breadlosers. They are funny and the characters are lovable.
Yeah. I remember waking up to Boomerang every morning before I went to Kindergarten, and seeing this short in between shows. I'm in 7th grade now. Good times... The old Boomerang will be missed
Oh my god this is the earliest part of my childhood I can remember. Coming home at seven o’clock from dance practice to watch boomerang and eat a peanut butter sandwich. God the memories
My favorite part is where he reaches through the radio and zips up the dude's trap. I wish you could do that in real life to people who annoy you constantly with their non-stop yapping.
Everyone else: OMG new Boomerang sucks I miss these shorts!! Me: ...so is no one going to address how Huckleberry Hound is meant to be the hero yet he robs an entire city of the ability to make noise just so he can torture them with an off-key rendition of his signature song?
