There’s something so eerie about rewatching this 12 years later and somehow remembering every last line. I always found it funny how the people don’t even care that the gators stole their vehicle and left them in the wild 😂
0:32-0:33 Let's take a minute to realize that that snakes head got sliced off by the truck and the creature it ate is happy that's it's alive. That's very dark and disturbing that none of us or very few of us hadn't noticed before as children
Oh, it was. In the 1960's. It was called Wally Gator, and the plot was the opposite of this short, where the main character wanted to break out of the zoo, not stay in
Lol I remember this, those hippies were wrong to take Wally away, now he has new friends and they’ll see what it’s like to be in the wild, starting with eating that frog who wants to be eaten
Does anyone know any of these voices? One of the alligators sounds like Tim Curry, and I think that Wally is voiced by Jeff Bergman, who reprised the role in "Jellystone".
@@marcusblackwell2372 same guy, same spiel, wanted to be eaten, but there were always different monsters, some from movies, some just kinda amorphous void monsters, and they were always just kinda watching the guy, never touched him, and he always got so mad. Occasionally, they'd see me and run after me, leaving the guy behind, which really pissed him off, and the only way I'd be able to get away was to also demand to be eaten, which bugged the monsters, and made the guy yell even louder, so we're now both demanding to be eaten, me first, no me first, no me- so on, so forth, and it was just a really... kinda nihilistic weird thing to be dreaming of consistently, especially as a young kid. Idk.
1:05 1:07 “You’ll be so much happier here,Wally!” Me:Yeah! I’m sure he wil so l much happier in a dirty swamp where he has to hunt for food and worry about hunters and predators instead of a nice clean zoo where his food was handed to him and he was safe from any danger!”🙄No wonder the alligators decided to move in with Wally at the zoo! Also I love how the idiot people don’t realize that the allegations stole their car and left them to fend for themselves in the wild until they were long gone!😂
0:33 As kid seeing this snake being chopped in half my reaction was always meh, sucks to be him Now that I’m 23 I think it’s just dark af, and this short is more of a mini doc on the violent nature of PETA
@@crazemate It's also a light criticism over the fact that it isn't ALWAYS a good idea to introduce captive animals to the wild. Wally was a gator who spent most of his life pampered and cared for in a zoo. Even though he is technically a top predator, he has no idea how to actually live in his species' habitat.
