I was commissioned by my management to make a workshop stool for Alec Steele. I decided to carve a seat using an angle grinder and add it to a cast base. I really hope Alec likes it.

Very nice Joe! I'll be carving out seats in a couple weeks so this was perfect timing for me. I wasn't sure about the Maple on top until you added the Milliput - then it looked great.

Thanks Mark! I wasnt sure myself about the maple lol I wanted a light wood to show off the logo best but wasnt sure how it would look with the zebrano. I was happy with the results though :)

looks great! really like that wood the grain looks fantastic. Only thing I'd have done differently would be black heads on the bolts in keeping with the rest of the stool. looks awesome anyway
