This is a recording of a classic Carvel Ice Cream radio commercial. It is from the “Fudgie The Whale” ad campaign, with Tom Carvel, from 1981. Tom was not the smoothest pitchman, but everyone in metro New York knew his voice, because of the hundreds of radio & TV commercials he recorded over the the years. He was so popular, that he even filled in a few times for Don Imus on the Imus In The Morning Show in the 1980s.
