Via a sharepoint list - out if the box there is no option. Can be done using spfx or power apps. There are sp custom form based power apps.

Hello Reza great video I really enjoyed it. I have an error I can't seem to resolve as I am creating multiple cascading drop downs 3 in total. The error populates on the 2nd and 3rd drop down in my filter function when my 1st drop is blank it says my expression "System eq null" is not supported. This occurs in both my 2nd and 3rd drop downs in the Items functions and it is telling me it is related to the Filter portion. Looking for some help on resolving this.

Hey. I've made an app that uses a dropdown by pulling data from a separate list. However, if someone tries to edit an entry, the 2 fields involved in a cascading dropdown refresh. Does anyone know if there is a way to make it so that if it's not a new entry, it keeps the details that were originally chosen?

If it's an existing entry, then it should hold the previous values. For new entries, typically you would want the user to select. Help Needed - SPO-Customized Form & Cascading Lists I have a customized form with a cascading list selection. A specific "Status" selection appears based on the selection of "Location". When creating the MS List, it contains a text column for both Location and Status. In developing the customized form (OOB) for SPO lists, I developed a separate list for the Location/Status dropdowns and then connected those data fields to populate the Location/Status to the primary list. When the form is in edit mode, everything works great. when saving the Location/Status does save properly in the primary SPO list; however, upon opening the form again, the Location stays constant but the "status" defaults automatically to the first selection option on the list no matter what. How do I fix this?
