We had a 2394 with that seat problem not going back up. There was something out of adjustment on the knob under the seat, i always had to lower the seat all the way down then push/hold in real hard while the tractor was running and it came up. The older case 70 series had hydraulic filters outside the housing that pretty much did'nt work. The hydraulic valve spool assembly was mounted vertical and about every 2000 hours dirt would accumulate in the ports no matter how many times you changed filters. So the power shift would get super ruff like a old 2670. One time in the early 1980's i was moldboard plowing with a old 1070, downshifted to 2nd 2nd and the tractor threw me out of the seat up against the windshield! Driving that thing was like a wrestling match and a great many mtn dews were lost on the cab floor.
enjoy your video thanks for the information. my mx255 has spin on filters. they are very very expensive but it's a lot less Mass. I enjoyed seeing the snow but you can keep it.
Your welcome... Yes the old cases had messy filters for some reason. I dont want snow right now either... still have 25000 worth of crop on the ground.
I am going to Alberta next tuesday to visit a friend of mine. He lives about 2 hours south of Calgary. I hope the weather is gonna be better then over at your place...
Holy cow ! Snow?! Where exactly are you? It's only been in the upper 30's so far here in N.E.Oregon. Love the look of stubble up through the snow😃. 🍻cheers
That little valve that I told you about for the seat is located right behind the battery box above where you just changed the filters. You should be able to trace the lines down to there anyway. It's some sort of pressure regulating valve and it goes bad sometimes so you don't get oil pressure to the seat. It can't really be fixed so you'll need a new one.
Hey there's no need for saying that four letter word this early in the year, haha! You can keep the snow for a month or two yet, I got to many things to do yet before the snow flies.
i need to change the Trans filters on my CASE 2590. Does anybody have a clue on how to do this or where they are located ? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
