he's so much more than the system quarterback we saw in colt brennan, graham harrell, and chase daniel. This guys actually got pretty good idea of correct reads and checkdowns that a pro qb has to make. He deserves to be drafted and to be in New York City in December
The same way so many hall-of-famers went undrafted. These so-called "experts" make excuses to say he is not good because of his size, looks, size of hands, size of feet, he plays for non-bcs school, etc. But they say the same things about so many NFL hall-of-famers too, but it didn't stop these NFL greats from becoming great.

This kid reminds me of Brett Favre...his throwing motion, his zip on the ball, how he acts...its gonna be really interesting seeing him start this weekend
Also I do have hope for him to start this season I did the math he currently has the highest passing yards of any Texans QB's this preseason that might just mean something.

One of the greatest QBs to ever played the game of football at any level! If the Texans are smart & put him in, they have a good chance of winning a Superbowl or two. If he plays for a great headcoach, he will get enough Superbowl rings to match Joe Montana. Last yr, the Texans sucked because of Matt Schaub, had they put Keenum in the Texans would have been in the Superbowl. That's the different between a great coach and a mediocre one, great coach will recognize Keenum's talent & put him in.

He has a very bright future here. Schaub will only be here 2 more years and we probably don't re sign him if he doesn't win us a SB. Keenum is as accurate as anyone in the game. He just had to learn the offense and make the transition to under center. I see him surpassing T.J soon and possibly being our next starting QB in the next couple years. Kubes really likes him.
i might be crazy. my wife is from new orleans and i watch them often. and i attended at the university of houston. The way this kid plays, dont he reminds you of drew brees? gutsy not scared to get hit in the pocket. accurate. got mobility but chooses to stay in pocket and make a deep through and not scared to get hit.
I believe Case Keenum has one major strength, and one major weakness. Strength: Keenum sees the open man. A very good quality Weakness: Keenum gets nervous in big games: Thus is why he screwed up in the game Vs USM. He also froze in the combine. i hope he gets his mind right coz he'd be a great NFL QB!
Also see one strength and one weakness. He was a strong and accurate arm. Weakness is of course injury he is going have to prevent that if he want's to start at the NFL level I admit.
My theory is that during the pre-season Matt Shaub will get injured and there will be a quarterback battle between TJ Yates,Colin Kelin, and Case Keenum. Case will win Tj will be cut and Colin is the 2nd string QB and Case will lead them to a Super Bowl win.
I agree with everything you said, except the part about Colin --- as he is already cut. I truly believe Keenum is superior to Schaub in every way, except in height. But you know some of the greatest QB's in the history of the game aren't tall and that didn't stop them from being great. *(I'm running out of characters, if you want to read more look below)

Bridgewater is going to go first, and it looks like the Jaguars is gonna get the first pick. Manziel is going to the Jets, they have Geno SMith, you have to give QB about 3 or 4 years until you decide they aren't right for you
His upside is way better than shaub's in my opinion, who has seemed to top out. Shaub is just not that good, I fear he will be our weak link. The bengals game was close; only way to beat the pats is to have amazing defense and SHAUB CANNOT SUCK!
He sucked in the combine because he pulled his hamstring during his second 40. I'm assuming you have never pulled a hamstring to not understand how much that actually effects someone. I've pulled my hamstrings multiple times and it kept me from pursuing football in college. You cannot imagine how much it limits you before it heals. He could not throw properly with the injury. They said when he did his pro-day he did much better. I bet the Saints take him as the eventually successor to Brees
Breaks my heart that this guy isn't starting as QB for my Houston Texans. Even tho hes a rookie from college.. Schaub plays like hes a Girl Scout learning how to throw and prances to run

Keenum you should start for the the Texans you can run and pass the ball what neither Yates nor the the tree log of schaub is Gary need to open his eyes and give you the 11 million a year they give Schaub because your the Texans present and future . Keenum you got my vote of confidence . Lets Go Texans!!! Your back up should be Collin Klein

I like Keenum but hes not better than Schaub I mean look how wide open his receivers are. I think he should be the back up not Yates but this doesn't prove that he can start in the NFL.
That 4-5 record is "not" a reflection of the qb. I wonder what you all will say when Jared Goff gets victimized by the same problems? Blame him too huh? The o-line cannot run block, and the receivers drop too many freakin' passes which kills drives (not to mention the o-lines "devout" passion for holding penalties, e.g., drive killers)! Case Keenum was "not" the problem my friend. Do your research!
Now ik Matt Schaub throw interception but cheering that he's hurt or burning his jersey or even come up to his house and say shit.... Is going to far, it's a little extreme
