Budget took a dive last week and this week but it's all good. I'm realizing that, as long as I don't lose sight of what I'm doing this for, I can get through all the low times much easier. Don't get discouraged, keep it going and you'll see results eventually❤️

I could improve on not overspending my spending envelope 😩😩😩 BUT I’ve been so much better on NOT using my card for purchases when there’s money in the bank. Congrats on the first 1k slip and paying off your 2 student loans!!! 💕

Two more loans gone!! Whew... Yesss!! I love to see it. I hit a snag this month and wasn't able to save as much as I wanted but having my sinking funds allowed me to pay the unexpected bill and not go in debt! Thank you. I will be forever grateful to you.

I really can't thank you enough for the encouragement and for the support that you are giving on your channel. You have inspired me to take more control of my financial assets. So far it is going pretty good some of the things that I want to work on are to not over pace myself and try not to take on too much and to also remember that even if I am putting away a small amount it will add up in the long run. I know you saw my order and I am already going to have to place another order for the 1K slips. I began my journey at the start of the new year around December and just in one month I decided to count of much money I had in my sinking envelopes altogether and I am already over 1K altogether. I am definitely staying consistent and I even have a side hustle in the works as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you do, and keep growing girl. I can't wait to see what this new year brings for you and for your family.

I started cash stuffing in January and I’m really happy with the progress I’m making. Seeing where every dollar goes really does make a difference. Since my income isn’t consistent I’m having trouble deciding what envelopes to stuff. But I boiled it down to whatever bill was due first I’ll stuff until I can pay just the one bill then I’ll start on the next. I’m also seeing an increase in my income slowly. I’m still so grateful to have found your channel.

I just paid off the 2nd of 3 loans and started 6 savings challenges: 2 short term, 2 mid-term, 2 long term (2 year) challenges. I paid off 1 credit card this month and plan to have another card paid off a year early by next month.

Always such a good feeling when you see debt being settled and that weight is lifted off your shoulders. My goal this year is to have no debt and to watch where every penny goes and to save as much as I can just to see what I’m capable of with a bit of patience and determination. I have two children and I want to be able to save for them too and hopefully show them what they can achieve when there older and to show them how to be sensible and take control of there finances when the time comes 💝

I was a person who would get my paycheck, pay my bills, buy some groceries, and just spend the rest mindlessly. Such a self destructive way of life. I really had nothing keeping me accountable. I am just starting this budget style but I am so excited! I'm already seeing how much my quality of life is going to improve. I watch your videos like crazy. Can't get enough. I finally have a savings for the first time

Great video! You are very blessed to be able to pay off your loans so fast and it’s so motivating. I’m constantly looking for new ways to make extra income now. I always get white on my toes, I used to get blue but I got white once and it changed my life. I hate when my nail lady tells me I need to pick a different color, like girl just have the white stocked and let’s keep it moving .

I just started really saving seriously this year. I’ve tried in the past but I kept the money in the bank and when I would see it get tempted to make a purchase. This year I’m doing a couple savings Challenges and taking the money out of my account, hopefully by mid year everything will be to a point where I can do cash stuffings and paycheck breakdowns.

You inspire me. I've been so unhappy at my job, and its taken me the last few months to realize that I'm so unhappy. While the last 2 years have been such a struggle and not just for me but for everyone, I know I have potential to get to where I want to be. I'm in a much better financial place than I was 2 and a half years ago. You inspire me to want to be better, to want to find something I'm passionate about. You hustle so hard and it honestly shows how dedicated you are and how successful you are. I hope someday I'll be able to have my own business and hustle to get to where I want to be financially.

I started cash budgeting late in the year, last year, so Christmas was difficult for me, budget-wise. There was also an unexpected vet bill, so that drained a few of my envelopes. This year I’m refocused and now I know what I need to work on and save towards. I’m trying, y’all! 😅

For me, I started budgeting in October of last year, so as the first full year of it all, I'm finally getting used to it. At first I felt like I was broke, but now, I have huge goals. A wedding to pay for, plus wanting to start saving for retirement. And just to have a back up plan. I'm seeing things finally coming together 😊

Hey thank you for the video. I just started budgeting the last week of December. I am having trouble using money from other envelopes ✉️ when they are empty for example using the lawn envelope to get my hair done or shopping. I am doing good with my savings/sinking challenges. On a positive note this is the first time I have money left over from my paycheck which is great!!!!

If you find yourself pulling from other funds just adjust and add more to the funds that were empty until they're to an amount that fits your monthly spending. You don't HAVE to add to every fund every pay period.

The biggest thing I’ve learned so far is about our expenses. I pay the bills for my husband and I. And once I wrote out everything, I couldn’t believe how much we were spending. Since our paychecks go into one account, and we’re on different pay periods, it’s kind of hard to budget correctly. So I tried to do a monthly budget, but have a hard time getting it down to zero. My husband has a card and usually likes to spend without me knowing. I’m excited to have saved as much as I already have, though!

I feel like my biggest struggle with starting budgeting is knowing when to focus on a different thing (like I different sinking fund). I noticed I tend to be narrow minded and won’t move on tell a goal is finished even what I should focus on something else 😅🙄💕

I do have a few questions... how would you recommend getting ahead in medical costs (I have a lot of rare conditions that currently have me disabled) when they can take up so much of your budget? how would you recommend getting ahead in medical costs Add your past 12 months medical expenses. Say $2000. Divide by 12 or $167. That is the amount that you should stuff every month.

I started my budget journey this month. I see that I can really stay on budget when I stick to it. I do my weekly check ins. The down call is that my husband decided to make me a birthday party and took out a personal loan when I was trying to get out of debt. Congrats on such a great month of income! If you have a Costco membership you can get tires from there and no wait because you can make an appointment or shop while they do the work. Great prices too on tires!

I absolutely love you and your videos. I've been on my financial journey for a while, but haven't been serious about it until recently. My baby turned one last month and I am tired of living paycheck to paycheck. I would love to do a cash envelope system but my SO is not okay with it. 😣 I'm so much at a loss right now. I'm tired of spending money that we don't have. I even started extreme couponing and started a side business that just isn't kicking off like I hoped. It's also so hard to do anything with a baby.

I make it a point to not comment on anyones personal situation. I used to coupon and flip the items locally. I supported my niece and I that way for about 6 months. At the end of the day you have to use your voice and if you are in a situation where your voice doesn't count... you may need a new situation. No judgement but we all deserve to be able to manage our own finances and live life on our own terms. Remember, we can do bad all alone, we do not need a mans help to do that.

but my SO is not okay with it. Understandable. Usually the friction comes about when one is a spender and the other is a saver. Can you sit with your other and discuss "our goals?" And how do we reach our goals?
