I like how every single headphone test is just an improv segment with the most local thing you can think of. '…And then we all got B E N Z E N E P O I S O N I N G."
Ok. That "tape under the label so no sticker residue" detail seriously is BRILLIANT. That employee needs to be promoted to Aussie prime minister or something
@@Drakzeel cashies is a very unpleasant place most of the time lmao it’s just junkies selling shit and shouting, “retro gaming enthusiasts” who smell bad and old people who are incredibly lonely browsing sports equipment and hardware while trying to strike up conversation with staff. It’s also a truly magical place where I’ve had countless incredible experiences. 10/10 Cashies is the best
i had a white one, but at some point the thing would just die randomly, like at 20 percent, it would die, i could turn it back on but it be at like 5 then.
I have a white one of these phones. It's a premium feeling plastic phone. You have to try it for yourself, the feeling of something plastic feeling so dense and well put together. I did end up getting frustrated with Apple's software and the small size of the phone, so I switched to a Galaxy S10 Plus 1 and 1/4 years ago.
I used to have them back in the day. That's probably why I love this channel so much, I used to love apple stuff when I was younger. Now I'm older and wiser.
I got them for free from a promotion at Micro Center. They got torn down for their components by yours truly. Would have been better if I had gritted them.
As a carguy, that Australian toy car part made me emotional. Holden's now part of the dead GM gang. Rest in peace, Holden. You make cool and original Aussies since 1967 even though I'm not Australian but still... 😭😭😭
Unfortunately they don't. He mentioned in a previous video that he would have to get a different "ears on a stand" that costs about $1000 more than the one he has before he can test earbuds. He said he's hoping on getting it but it's a little beyond the budget right now. However, when he does get it, he'd better make an "earbud testing binge" video.
I had a white 5C as my first smartphone and I freakin' loved that thing. It was built like a tank and even survived falling off of a roller coaster without a single scratch on it. Was legit a cool phone and I still have mine today.
i think i got a second gen (its the thinner one with buttons separate from the wheel) laying around somewhere, totally cooked or id still be using it honestly.
I really love how he puts in the effort to compare even the last junk to the HD 600. Shits about to get real once he gets a DSP where in ears are able to fit in.
My cashies where I live now in the UK is crap. They have exactly the same golf clubs and builders tools as Ozzie Cahsies, and no real nuggets anymore. All icloud locked (probably stolen) iphones for over £200. Used to buy crap at other cashies a long time ago, and sell it at cex, sometimes without even removing the cashies labels. Fun times and made a bit of cash.
RedHedgeHog well the old add back in the day went. 🎵They’re in your local suburb, they’re not far away🎵so in theory we are all supposed to have a cashies near us.
We don't have a cashies in the states, but we do have something called Goodwill! It's literally the same thing, only Goodwill gives like 80% of their proceeds to charity. A lot of people look down on it, only thing is, is that most of the shit there is like $200 going for $30. My grandpa found a set of records going for like $10 that were worth over $140, It was some U.S.S.R record or some shit.
i love the microphone tests in your videos so much. Aussie accent is so fun to listen to and the stuff you talk about makes it even better :D much love from Germany :D
hearing the song through the hurr durr six hungeos, is like sitting near a nice, warm fireplace. hearing the song through any cashies headphones is like huddling around an old oil drum with a flame coming out of it under a motorway
I'm a new subscriber. I really enjoy when you test the microphone quality of these headsets. It cracks me up everytime. The hilarious storytelling! Keep it up!
@Cesare1591 i once saw a large family on a long distance train, the husband had a black 5s, the wife a gold one, the kids all had 5cs. there was like 4 or 5 kids each with a different coloured one. i think the design is pretty good but you’re right it was viewed as a kids phone by most adults. especially because the 5 and 5s had pretty nice to hold metalwork.
"So you wanna go to Aus to see the Great Barrier Reef, hang out at Bondi Beach, and check out the outback?" "Nahhhh, I wanna go to Cashies mate, where you can find your dreams."
i would honestly kill for a video where he reviews like every pair of skullcandies, they've always been a reliable "in a pinch" type of earbud due to their price and general sound quality, however they aren't as good as they used to be.
@@kirsatta you never know, crushers are fun. in my opinion the fun experience you get from them out weighs the small nit picks they have. they get you so immersed you barely pay attention to the problems with the headphones. especially with the noise cancellation on the crusher anc
@@theone_who_knocks I bought 2 off ebay a couple years ago, both have janky headphone jacks and are missing the knob bit for the volume so I gotta use pliers to crank up anything. I like cassettes because it's like the reverse of audiophiles, it's not how it's meant to sound but it's how everyone else first listened to those albums. Feels authentic lol My only worry is that they're not built to last as long as a cd or vinyl but I love the itty bitty boxes they come in :)
@@33screamingfrogs34 i had a one my Grandpa gave to me for my b-day. It is 6-8 yo right now. And yes i do agree with you ,you cant extend the memory in it but i mean, mine has 4 gb of storage and has 500 songs.
Kind of a coincidence that a Bachmann Thomas The Tank Engine model appeared in the video at 2:00, and the nano was named "Thomas's iPod". Dank took the poor guy's iPod
