Cashing out the Fam | The Disturbing Case of Karl Karlsen

Karl Karlsen had very bad luck. Or rather, the people around him did as they were frequently the subject or tragic, and deadly, accidents. Including his wife and son. Did they have life insurance? You betcha, and of course Karl Karlsen was the beneficiary. It would take decades for him to finally come to justice.

I saved my ex, he was working on a car, using 2 jacks. I came out, the car started shifting, an old Chrysler Newport, a tank of a car, I grabbed the side with super strength, I was 9 months pregnant. Yelled for him to roll out, he did and he was safe. He had life insurance but didn't mean anything to me. He still remembers how I saved him, 40 years later. Just so everyone knows, his life insurance wouldn't have covered his funeral costs and was never a thought. People matter, money is bs. I grew older and became a nurse. Im now retired.

Even torching the stables with the horses* inside - absolutely horrific. This guy was as dangerous, and evil, as they come. Murder is obviously never pleasant, but to drop a car on his own Son, before leaving him to be crushed to death is quite easily one of the worst things I've ever heard. Clearly it isn't the same as serial killers who actively hunt people, but it's shocking in a different way. I couldn't leave an animal, (even what most people would consider vermin) to be slowly crushed, but his Son... I know that on these videos, (and others like them) some people often comment on animals, "I know that____killed ten people, but thankfully the dogs are okay" which is just how some people view things - I understand the empathy towards animals, so that's fine.

Doesn’t mean his chest was caved in but I get your point. @goofballCartoonist They're not ignorant. Untrained people, especially in moments of high stress, aren't going to be able to accurately determine that someone is past the point of successful resuscitation. A victim who appears to be dead could very well be revived with CPR, so it's not ignorant for the emergency operators to ask bystanders to do everything they can until EMTs arrive.

We have slid off the rails of humanity when we have disregarded the lives of these victims, family victims at that, when the death penalty is not an option by the state. Sure, there are those who by being indigent or wittingly framed, are somehow found guilty, but by taking away a harsh punishment the mind of the criminal has free roam of crimes without the internal nudge of what might remain of a CONSCIENCE. His wife went along with it though so she's almost as guilty. I believe she knew all along and only came forward once she though she was next.

It's scary how cold hearted this guy was but also how stupid. Did he really think he'd get away with his sons murder and then his Grand children as well , life insurance policies on all?

I want to go even further and have Mike put a condition to watch on his vids, so that everybody who wants to watch has to agree to jump up and do the dance whenever a life insurance policy is paid out the only exception is for people watching at work they can do the dance sitting down as long as they spin their chair 360 at some point in the dance.

Y’all like this if you want her to cover the Kendrick Johnson case next! It’s a story, from what I recall (happened in 2013) about a black boy’s murder and cover up at a highschool, his body was shoved in a rolled up mat, stuffed newspaper in his body and the coroner had the audacity to rule it an accident. This is only what I recall, I could have some things mistaken so it’d be awesome if you covered it! It’s a crazy story that blows my mind to this day that his name has fallen through the cracks and there STILL is no justice. But in 2017 a witness did come forward. Let’s get this some likes and get this boy’s story out there! 🙏🏻

True Story Me (after a year of marriage): I was thinking, it would probably be a good idea to get some life insurance on me, in case something happens you'll be ok. Wife: We have life insurance on you. Me: We do? When did we get that? Wife: About 6 months ago. Me: Don't you have to see a doctor to get life insurance? Wife: You saw a doctor. Me: I did? When? Wife: Don't you remember? At (names a city). Me: I thought that was for my new job. Wife: Nope, it was for your life insurance. Me: 😯 10 yrs later Wife: How come you never eat my cooking? Me: You know why. Wife: That's not funny!
