While the new metal bezel G-Shocks have larger buttons and the newer, softer resin straps...I have to say that this is all you really need if you just want the upgraded look for a fraction of the price. It looks fantastic and it's easy to do. Thanks for showing us.
Thank you for your comment. I agree with you. Now you have reminded me to say that it is actually easier to press buttons while using metal bezel reather than while using original resin bezel. That is because the original bezel has material all around the button, and the metal one has some empty space around the button, check it on 6:38
Mine is also rubber, black. I had already seen the all-metal model, but not combining the two materials. It was amazing! Great idea! The difficult thing is to find metal parts in Brazil. Only find for sale on Aliexpress... 😕
I didn't use my stickers at all, but I thought you were supposed to stick them to the inside of the bezel. If done that way, if you decide to use the the bezel on a slightly different housing, the stickers would still be in place, instead of being stuck to another watch where they don't do anyone any good. That's just my theory on them since there aren't any instructions provided.

I did this half metal conversion on mine, and I think it looks much better than doing the metal bracelet too. The finis on the bezel is bright enough as it is, and the bracelet just takes it all a little too far.
@@RandomChessTalk Yes, exactly what I was going for by doing the bezel only. Plus I've seen a lot of comments that say the full conversion is uncfortable because of the first link sticking out too far instead of angling down, and also that the first link doesn't have any flex at all. I've had bracelets like that in the past, and I know exactly what those other commenters were talking about, because I have a 7.75 inch wrist circumference which is already larger than most people that I know, and some of those people had wrists over 8 inches around and even they were saying it was uncomfortable. If you're one of those people who wear their watch really loose, it shouldn't be a problem, but for people who wear their watch as recommended, they weren't able to wear it long term. Even with the bezel being slightly larger, with the original resin straps I can wear mine all day with no issues at all.

That's so cool, i bought a DW 5600, (the 40/50$ model) i'm going to mod it like yours, the amazing thing is that the metal bezel has the protection and g-shock logos written on it.

The weak point is that the watch is now much heavier, but still with wristbands with a metal-on-plastic connection. The metal will wear through the plastic in no time.
Grazie per la risposta. Ho usato gli adesivi, alle 4:04 puoi vedere che due sono incollati sul lato dell'orologio e il terzo è incollato sul quadrante dell'orologio.

I can't handle with adjust button in my 5600, it works good only when I remove the bezel. Since theisbezel does not have the lower piece of the circles protecting the buttons, are the buttons more responsive with this bezel?

Взял на темпусе GW5600 за 7000руб , с солнечной батареей, блютузом и теперь у меня будут часы за 40000руб ))))) Спасибо Китаю.
