I love her! She is so intelligent and personable and I honestly think she is beautiful. Her soul shines through her sparkling eyes, her wit, her smile, her beautiful hair, her warmth, the fact that she was dehumanized her whole life for her weight is tragic, I'm so glad that she held her head up high and knew her worth despite all of that

No wonder she never did interviews, Russell Harty talked down to her, looked her up and down like she was obtuse, where of course its the other way round. Cass Elliot came across as very lucid and engaging, such a shame she passed away so young

I often walk through Curzon Square, near Hyde Park in Central London where she was sadly found dead back in 1974. I can't help but think about her, as well as Keith Moon who was coincidentally found dead in the same rented apartment four years later.

@converse91970 - It looks like that area has changed a great deal from how it was when Cass was there. I think Harry Nillson sold it pretty quickly after Keith Moon died - the odd coincidence of two of his friends dying at the same age, in the same room, must have been extremely unsettling. Although the building is still there I think the internal layout of the flats has been changed, and what was Flat 12, 9 Curzon Place is now known as Apartment 16, 1 Curzon Square. Now in the shadow of the Park Lane Hilton.

@@adams4100 oh please save us your bullshit. "You have some pretty low standards" doesn't mean that you're concerned about the lady's health. It means "She's fat and ugly". Join the club, you're another of the legion of insecure males who feel compelled to insult this wonderfully talented woman decades after her death. Trying to establish their manliness cred or some such crappola.
