Startup of the big Briggs. Having fuel issues off idle. Needs a carb clean or time to take the new one out of the box. Rated 16hp and 25.8 ft/lbs of torque at 2700 RPM
Those old Briggs's are bulletproof. Have the exact engine on an old 70's roper tractor, that thing will mow through 6" of grass and barely break a sweat doing it.
I love the little mini pops and backfires these make when you rev them. I had one on my Gravely 8163. I sold that tractor but that engine was so worn out that it practically backfired all the time.
I always thought that was cool too. Every one I have ever had has done this. I love these engines. I still have 6 of them now. I just picked one up again a few weeks ago at my junk yard. Model 19 if I recall correctly
