Scrappy Industries having fun
The 15-B was a very popular machine in the 1950's, as it was about the largest machine that could be conveniently hauled to job sites without disassembly. Disconnect lowboys were not common then, but the machine could be side loaded on a double drop trailer with the aid of some large timbers. They were usually transported cross tracked on the trailer, with flags hung on the ends of the tracks. The boom would normally be left on for transport, although a crane boom could be split.
Many 10-B's and 15-B's were purchased by contractors as convertibles, with crane boom, backhoe, and shovel fronts. There are several videos of the conversion process on RU-vid.
