This is an insane boss battle, cool how when the health is at half it spawns all the starter knights. Great work, also love the powers the king has, plus you have to be quite a chad to beat him

I really love this mod, the point of where you shoot the blacksmith’s head makes it feel like your the main villain and the king is taking his revenge.

My head cannon on why this happened is that the "hero" (you) still wanted to kill after you killed the evil wizard. So on the way to the party you killed the blacksmith since he was distracted on making weponds (which would explain why you need to do that for the fight to happen). No one noticed...... except the king. He now realized you where a problem. So during the party he asks you to step outside for a minute. And then the fight starts. (He told the knights about it too which explains their presence) Edit: adding more head cannons cause why not The reason the background is pure dark is so 1. the king could do this away from the public. After all, people seeing him kill wut they would think is a hero would make him look bad sense they have yet to find out the true intentions of the "hero" 2. In hopes that you wouldn't notice he was gonna attack you sense it's too dark to see anything. The quicker he could get rid of you the better. Too bad it didn't work and you still noticed him. (I know the real reason is probably cause a background was just never added) Some attacks like the arrows and the cannon balls are from the kings grey knights that were ordered to stop the "hero". The king would also dance to singal when to use the cannonballs. The rest of the atacks are the kings true magic. There is a reason he's the king after all. But that is just a theory A GAM-

If this was in the base game, it should give the skull a crown on the character selection screen

I love castle crashers to death but this looks insanely hard. I recently restarted and I'm currently doing insane but I'm hard stuck "wedding crashers". My goal is to beat the game as every character and unlock them all. Props to you for this amazing work bro, must've taken you a long time👏 ❤ Edit: this would've made an amazing secret boss in the main game. I love the difficulty of it

The phase with the og 4 knights is one of the coolest concepts I've ever seen in castle crashers Edit: Imagine the 4v4 with you and your buddys all playing the og knights, no one would know who they really are Edit edit:The boss calling in henchman specific to the boss fight to help fight as a stage in the boss fight is a also judt a really cool concept and I wish it was something that the devs would've implemented in the base game (just imagine having secret boss fight hench men characters you could unlock)

That red lighting for red night is technically not unused (it is for the magic) the red lightning appears in marsh as necro turns them into beefys

Imagine if someone made a mod where it was like the villains side (adding new characters with unique magic abilities) and you just get to see the battle through the enemies maybe even different locations that would be so dope
