I used to live off college road pn stratford and cambridge was like 9 years old . Me and my friend Ryan decided we wanted to see that castle , but I never got too .i tell my son there's a castle here but doesn't believe me. Thanks for this
@@respectall1596 Yes it is. I believe the builder/owner still lives there. My step dad used to live on the lake. Every 4th of July (before it became illegal) people used to light off fireworks from rafts on the water. My step dad told me that once he shot a firework at the castle. The owner was on the rooftop with his friends and saw it, so he shot one back down into the water. Next thing you know, castle was under siege from fireworks. I don't know if the story is true, but he told me the owner thought it was the best thing ever. He built a castle and it was under siege!
I umpire High School Softball games and I like telling Visiting teams when they come to Saint Francis High School to "Look in Dead Center Field, you can see a Castle!" Always fun to see the girls be in 'Awe' before they have to Refocus on warming up for the game. Pretty cool site.
