I was there helping to put up the large marquee mentioned in the report. With the Conspiracy crew. I got there by hitching a lift from London on the Friday afternoon. Got a lift to Junction 18 on the M4 as that was the only directions I had. Stuck my thumb out on the Gloucester Rd there and within a minute I got picked up by a load of hippies in a transit van with about 30 cases of Special Brew in the back. They didn't know exactly where they were going either, but we eventually ended up in the middle of a massive convoy. The police had given up trying to stop it and were stopping other traffic at roundabouts to allow the convoy to go through. Amazing weekend.
Nearly 30 years ago. I couldn't go because I was living in Berlin at the time. I think this event inspired a lot of people in Europe to kickstart their own free party scene. The Love Parade doubled in size (at least) every year after that. Appy daze!
It was epic from a phone call to moreton valence....guided by love and excitement thought all the please drive carefully places waved n clapped by the locals All the way to castle moreton...late fri evening...spiral tribe...the exploding gerbil cafe...it was that good stayed for a week...😊.
4 days spent at the party to end all parties. A battery borrowed and replaced from a random mini to jump our dead metro. What a party there were some banging blotters going around as well as pills. Respect to all, Circus Warp, tribe, DiY, & bedlam. We live on in mind body & spirit. One love people to all still living on and lost friends & DJ’s. Now get them pennies ready for the Jenny! X

The deep state back in the 90's in full effect. This was such a hit piece on our movement. Sure the littering is bad and we learned later to have clean up crews but they are picking out the few bad apples and not portraying all the good vibes. The neighbors would not have made such a fuss if they were given a couple doves and compensated for the trample grass but I mean that one lady in white was not even a land owner she was brought in as an actress. As far as damaged grass goes I mean BIG DEAl... plant some new seed bet you could find some volunteers to do that.

I always wondered if the sheep thing was real..... The only bad hardcore dog I met on site was always chained to a green bus....Will mention no names but was a well known guy and dog.... Big old pit cross and mastiff type thing.... But pretty sure he was never off lead....all our dogs were used to being around people and cattle so we're pretty well behaved
Mate I was trying to convey to my daughter just how big the independent crews were it was like big complete post codes side by side really some of these crews was capable of and did organize big raves in there own right,swear down there was a feeling that everybody had tasted all that lets say for now magic,,and people were aware that this one was going to exceed momentum,man I wish I could explain the energy,,I felt sad for awhile talking to my girl wondering if possibly she might experience the tidel wave of power that came from 30thousand people are here and we want you to connect embrass experience the best you can,hard to get across but so many different firms crews all on same page,it might take awhile but I really hope like Exodus from Luton amovent of the people that makes me a little sad to remember because I can still almost feel the awesome vibe,shut up you old sod ye ye ye here's to the next relizeation +++

People take drugs in many places, not just Castlemorton. Alas the brew crew and skag heads, fucked it up for the nice people. Origionaly this was to be Avon Free Festival. Avon police sent them to the next county. As per usual no photos were taken of the horror stories that were told.

The po-lice stopped us from having the festival at other more suitable locations like Rodborough fort where we had been invited by the land owner. The authority,s wanted a massive festival at Castle Morton thats why they let it happen there, the travelers only went to Castle Morton because that was the only place that was left there were no plans to have it there and we had been forced to move from other locations?

Me and mates used to organise illegal outdoor raves around Newquay 96 to about 2000. I’d started holidaying as an 18 year old in 91 and even the Haven campsite in Perranporth had a night club and bloody hell that club was going off in 91!! Even all the local ravers turned up there. Happy Days 🤙🏻 I can see a bit of Blue Juice and Human Traffic in my raving, surfing blood....
