Castleton Square, 1994 | Indianapolis, Indiana 

Castleton was busy on this day in 1994, so I used my crowded mall photography strategy. I made a bee-line for the most “artsy” spot (in this case, the fountain) and then continued out, photographing as the crowd allowed. It was always better to save film for another location than to get photos of a bunch of people and lots of ceiling. Fortunately, I had better luck at Castleton’s sibling malls: Lafayette and Washington Squares.
