Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse (NES) - No Death Walkthrough [Clock Tower, Syfa Route]

A full playthrough of one of the best games in CV series. I used only Trevor but did take a detour to Clock Tower to take Grant (mostly because I will not go to this stage in any of the further walkthroughs). The rest of the game is completed using the route, where you get Syfa Belnades.
I will not say anything about the difficulty of this walkthrough as those who ever played CV3 know how cruel this game is to player (especially on latter stages).

I will never grow tired of your video game runs, especially Castlevania. You made this game look so easy. I'd love to see kids in this generation play this game haha! I don't think they'd stand much of a chance right off the bat. Excellent run as always, this was a grand treat!

The 80s and early 90s were the best for gaming. My opinion. Nothing sounds better than the music of an 8-bit NES. Brings me right back to childhood.

Found this video because I dusted off my copy for regular nintendo and kept getting my ass kicked. Thanks for the video and glad to see I'm not the only one who got my ass kicked by this game repeatedly. You made it look easy

The Famicom version has different instrumentation, so i’d suggest giving that version of the soundtrack a listen as well ;)

I first played this in early 1991 when i was still in the 7th grade i always would rent this from the local video store i hated the route that took you to the ghost ship i would choose the route that would lead me to Alucard 24 years later i have this classic downloaded on my wii i've still havent beaten this game yet...

I still remember the trick you could use of you had the Bwaka knife and fought the Cyclops to free Sypha by throwing it at it's eye at the beginning of the fight and with the right timing lightning would strike it and you would do severe damage to it

This game got the extra chip in order to make such a fantastic game that is still one of the best in the series. Nothing will ever beat CV 3, SOTN, Rondo, and SCV 4.

Love this game. Wasted days playing it more than 20 yrs after it was made.My 8 yr old loves the game but is no fan of the graphics. He recognises it as a classic. Castlevania rocks!

I liked sofa, but it was always difficult not to keep grant. So useful to be able to climb around on all walls and ceilings. Even a whole bridge at one point. To avoid all enemies. Pretty cool.

Sypha was not exactly dead, but was turned to stone by the boss you fought at 15:00, called an Ogre. Her spell is broken after the Ogre is destroyed.

That didn’t exist when this was made. He used a smoothing filter that blends the pixels together to look like less pixelated.

Juan Cabeza - at the end it says she's now "accepted herself" and living "comfortably", it kinda implies she disguised herself as a man to live the Vampire Killer life. The new Castlevania animated series plays with this idea a little bit: she's initially introduced as someone's grandchild, ambiguous gender, then it's revealed she dresses as a man because it's easier to live as one.

+egyetek egyetem He's got some sort of filter/smoothing on. Play around with the filters in video options. It looks worse imo, I prefer seeing the chunky pixels, looks more like a nes.
