JustFinn I was thinking the same thing, but you could only use it to bop the hidden block. Then you're still SOL because you can't get on top of the hidden block haha
Bradley Lloyd I guess you're right. My first thought was to do a backward shell jump to get on top of the kaizo block but that would probably be in the way and therefore not accesible
I thought you get the shell, use the shell or the pow to bop the kaizo block. Then you use the shell to jump on top of the kaizo. Then you can get on the spring, do a spring jump and continue the end normally
SuperPomax You're right, that's totally it! Thought from the beginning that this janky mid-air strat was not the way to go, plus it didn't even involve the kaizo block that was obviously placed to make this jump work out better...
I just discovered this guy and I don't even play Super Mario Maker, but boy do you make every level entertaining. Keep it up, and I know I speak for thousands of people who watch you as well :D
Props to that dev for making the dev exit hard, just so he could complete the entire stage with that timer which normally isn't possible without checkpoints.
As I've already said:"20:20:U were overcomplicating everything dude.All u had to do was get the tanooki/raccoon suit from the other room,have enough time to do everything,put the pow down on the right,jump on top of it,jump up from it,hit the block,jump on the block,jump to the right,jump from a spring,grab onto the vines,jump onto the cannon,do a shelljump,and u're in there.Or u could've just flown actually I think there was enough time for u to reach the maximum p level for flight,so u could've just flown to the end of the level lol"
Ryu, I don't really know how to say it, but I have to tell you that you are awesome: you make me laugh, enjoy and have a good time with your videos, even when I'm having a bad time. And just hoping you never stop uploading videos because you're light in the actual RU-vid darkness
I'm a newer sub here, but you got me into Mario speed running and maker. It's really fun to watch and no one keeps me interested like you do. It's really awesome how you keep the positive attitude up because holy crap some of these levels would tilt me so quickly. Love the content and the effort you put into everything you do.
Your editing is on point! There are a few mario makers I watch and I enjoy yours most because of how you edit things. It gets tedious watching someone replay the same bit 2 dozen times as they learn each section, but the way you piece it together makes it flow.

I don't know if anyone else said this but Ryu I think you can hit the hidden block by standing on the pow that's in the room and from there jump to the springs which is easier than a midair

For that dev exit you might be able to put the pow right on the edge use it to reach the hidden block. From there you might be able to jump on top of it with a running start, but if not then you could probably shell jump off it and make it to the springs...sounds a bit ridiculous but I would go to any lengths to keep from having to do a midair 🤣

Ryu for the world record u didnt need a mid air u could have piled up the pow from the start with the pow in that zone and then jump on the kyzo and then get to the springs
I’m here in 2018 a little late but all you had to do is grab the POW place it hit the block then shell jump off the wall to get on top of it and jump to the springs
Could have just gone backwards down the pipe for that strange extra pow block, then gone into the area, used both pow blocks to go on top of the hidden block and jumped at the springs.

Anyone made a speedrun level that uses the whole 500 seconds? Where you have to execute everything perfectly to make it to the end in time. Basically a world's longest speedrun.
