I can’t believe I found this video just when I needed it the most I’m having problems with that same fitting I already changed the O-ring four times and it only works for a few days and then starts leaking again and I am the second person working on that same problem great video thanks.
have this same engine 3126B in my FL chassis motorhome. my original line was a rubber hose. started cracking so ordered the steel line... no matter what I did I couldn't get it to fit right. finally gave up and went to the local hydraulic hose shop. 6500psi line hose with 2 new fittings, went right in no problems and no leaks. Cost was 25% of the steel line too.....
good job! Duly noted on my end and so one person has gratitude for your posting. I don't have that pump, but, I'll surely run into it because the mech will be throwing wrenches and cussing.
I feel your pain. After 20 years turning wrenches, I finally escaped the profession. Thank goodness for divorce from my ex-wife, it was the only way I could start over in a different field.....REAL ESTATE! Straight investor, buildings are so much easier to work on. I always advise young guys wanting to be a mechanic to just go to Med School and be a doctor. So much easier and pays better.
so it's 3 bolts holding it in? I'm having issues with no start on this damn engine on my school bus that I converted into a home, already dumped a bunch of money in and now looking at the horrible oil pump, thx for the video btw
I just woke up to the same problem this morning at the truck stop. I have the same engine and heui pump. Can I just replace that o-ring or the line? Or do I have to replace the entire pump?
