My wife has tried to change me from time to time but she knows when we got married I drank and I don't change I'm a very sociable person. I appreciate the thoughts The trick is finding a problem to solve to keep the mind busy. I would be interested in the farming. Maybe some aquaculture or hydroponics. Crazy but keeps the mind busy. Crawfish boil time.

I couldn’t live in the village those roasters and dogs barking would drive me crazy I need a toilet that flushes and running water. The mud everywhere would make me scream 😂😂

4:55 I rented an airbnb home in tagaytay after watching videos of expats promoting the Philippines. Got to the house, and we had to endure loud music from the next door neighbor practically 24/7. It was about 12 hours of music a day, I complained then it turned almost 24/7. The airbnb owner says it's out of their control. King, thank you for your honesty.

Yup the province life is boring nothing to do I used to go to my grandparents house in Bataan and spend time with them can’t take the heat (no a/c ) all you here is like what you said , dogs,goat , tricycles with loud as mufflers and neighbors yelling hahaha 😊😊

Filipinas r taught from a young age never be scared of a 2ooo pound . Caribou. Give them a stick. It works. U put me next to a cow that size I just move away. My Filipina tells me stories of her climbing 50 ft coconut trees . I get above 15 feet I get terrified. Always remember .
I can live in the village because I grew up in the back woods of Mississippi as well. Still do. I've lived in cities and hated it. I was wondering how you were going to adjust to the village after you stopped drinking. 😅
True, but if thats the only life you know or are comfortable with,, then that is what is for you. But those or most of those who were brought up in a more active lifestyle will be accustomed to that as well. Good or bad those are things we accept as a way of life. Those things which can be improved upon should be improved. I dont think I would be able to change for the provinces, I have spent near 70 years with the conveniences just a few miles away.
I agree with u mark.. if u drink red horse the country life/filipino life is easy and simple. IF U HAVE A WIFE. without a women not so much. If u like only 1 women then Philippines is good. If u demand more than… I think Thailand is a better option. I lived in both countries. Over 3 decades now. Filipinas make better wives and mothers my opinion only.

Unless you are working on the land there is very little to do. I grew up in the country every chance we had we went to town. That is why it's so hard to keep kids from leaving for the city. It's hard work and hard living. Only paradise if you love working.
